I've been listening to Mazzy Star for 30years now and this is the first cover I've listened all the way through. Absolutely spot on.

This song by Mazzy Star is so unique. It has a slow tempo, dreamy melodic & haunting vibe to it. This cover is absolutely amazing.

Never would have dreamed someone could sing what Hope Sandoval sang, but this is perfection. Perhaps you didn't get what the song was originally about, but goddamn nobody could deny you did it justice. What a voice.

I was 22 years old when this song came out. I can tell you exactly what I was doing the first time I heard it, I can picture that moment in my head perfectly. I had to buy the CD at least 4-5 times because friends kept 'borrowing' it. It was played at my wedding. Ive heard it on movies and TV shows like Starship Troopers, Angus, AHS, True Blood, and many others. If I said Ive listened to this song at least a thousand times, I still think I would be short on the count. I have listened to cover after cover after cover, and always been disappointed. I never thought anyone on earth could match the haunting way that Hope Sandoval brought this song to life. This cover had tears in my eyes within the first 15 seconds or so that I listened to it. I cannot believe that you actually brought the same emotions to me that Hope could. You are absolutely amazing, and I mean that. Those 2 on the guitars are incredible as well. This was so dam perfect. I wish I could have seen Mazzy Star do it live 1 time, but I would settle for you guys playing it, and that is saying quite a bit when its my absolute favorite song ever.

Let's face it, KZfaq cover bands are a dime a dozen. A rare few are able to nail it. Once or twice in lifetime, the stars align, and you get the perfect storm of talent. I can honestly say that this cover sounds BETTER than the original. The mixing, the production, and her voice are all exceptional. This cover is probably the best I've ever seen.

Damn. I'm watching this again after 8 months and I love how she nailed all the aspects from Hope's performances that made her music and videos great. A lot went into this that makes it such a perfect cover while still allowing some of your style to shine through but not changing the style and feeling of the original. Really appreciate your efforts.
