Pulled it beautifully. I can see that the tractor had a lot of torque to haul two trailers up a steep hill like that. I'd imagine it will pull even more up a hill

That's not a small load now to be fair, and the driver seems to be solid with the correct gear for the climb. Tractor isn't being dogged out of it so I would say she's loving it rather than struggling

Terrible driving by the Volvo. Far too close so they can’t see to over take and no room to accelerate before pulling out and committing to the over take. Still he’s in a Volvo so it’s safe, right 🤔

I have worked many many hours with MB tracs...infact years....plowing.....hauling sugar beet like in this video....and I have worked with other tractors,too...but an MB trac is a class of its own...MB trac forever....

@@DirtIndustry Yeah, they are beautiful tractors but they have their flaws, most importantly the setup of the suspension. As soon as you hang something in the hydraulic lift in the front or the back, they bow into the suspension which is not good for the whole axle assembly. But for hauling they re the optimal tractor.

Its really not that different of an older Wagner, versatile and Steiger 4wheel Drive units. In fact Versatile set the standard of one of the most efficient 4wd tractors in the world and they came put out of my homeland here in Canada!

MB-tracs waren nicht nur zu ihrer aktuellen Zeit ein stück herausragender deutscher Technik. Auch wenn ich Fendt und Deutz-Fahr auch gut finde, muss man einfach anerkennen,dass da die Fahnenstange viel früher erreicht wird. Ich habe schon den Vergleich zwischen dem MB-Trac 1600 und einem Fendt 716er gesehen. PS sind nahezu identisch aber die Umsetzung der Leistung sind enorm weit auseinander. Ich denke, dass an den MB-Tracs nur Schlüter noch schnuppern können. Und das ist auch alte, aber einzigartige Technik. Das sollte schon mal zum denken anregen,warum das so ist.

So isses. Der Fendt verpufft seine Power im Variogetriebe, was nicht heißt das dieses schlecht ist. Aber nicht unbedingt zu vergleichen. Ein Porsche von 1980 ist auch nicht mit einem Audi R8 von 2018 zu vergleichen. Der Vergleich mit einem Case 1455 oder Fendt 615LSA sowie Schlüter 1500TVL wäre hier angebracht. Allerdings sind dies dann steife Standardschlepper und eben keine Tracs.

Sie haben recht. Die alten Trekker haben Getriebe die nicht sehr viel kraft verbrauchen. Dies war sehr gut zu sehen in vergleich zwischen Case und White hier in Amerika. Gleiche Motoren - Cummins - andere Getriebe zweigten die ihre schwaechen und staerken. Case powershift war gut als all rounder und White war gut fuer schwere Feldarbeit.

I once pulled a 20 ton trailer with no brakes on the trailer with a fiat 80 horsepower tractor,, everything went fine until i came to a downhill gravel road and tryed to break with the 3,5 ton tractor the tractor wheels was just sliding so i had to forget breaking,, stear, and hope no cars came the other way,, hehe.. the speedometer on that tractor went only to 50 kmt--- 30 mph,, and that i passd 1-5 down the slope but lukyly no cars, and it was uphill after the slope so i slowed down in the uphill,,, but i never tryed to pull such heavy loads without brakes later on,,,, haha

Gratulation zum dümmsten Kommentar hier. Man muss nicht alles mögen was andere gut finden, aber diesen Kultschlepper als Müll zu bezeichnen ist schon etwas dumm und zeugt von Unwissen und und etwas Neid kann man auch heraushören. Dieser Schlepper stammt aus einer Zeit, wo die anderen Hersteller noch am Traktornuckel gezullt haben und die technischen Innovationen dieses Traktors belächelt haben. Später wurden dann von fast allen Herstellern viele der technischen Neuerungen übernommen und heute sind diese Standard bei fast allen. Von den über 41 000 gebauten Traktoren sind ca 75% noch täglich im Einsatz und das auch noch teilweise gewerblich. Müll ist hier nur der Kommentar eines dummen Schuljungen, der das nachplappert, was andere ihm vorgegeben haben. Mehr nicht. Alle die einen MB Trac haben sind ja schließlich dumm.

just saw a video where a decades younger case didn't make it up a hill and they pulled him out with an mb-trac ^^ and back in the day they had 3 huge fendts in front of a trailer, one similar fendt to keep it from falling over and they still didn't make it until the local came over with is lanz bulldog *drool*

Ch4Rg3D da ist wieder einer der sich nicht auskennt, einer der nur das weiterpallavert, was er am stammtisch von irgendwelchen ausnahmbauern (landwirte im ruhestand) gehört hat. Vario bzw. Stufenlose antriebe sind dreimal effizienter, da die geschwindigkeit auf 0,001 km/h angepasst werden kann. Ein traktor mit stufenlosem antrieb mit derseleben leistung und dem selben hubraum wär um einiges schneller oben gewesen als der mb trac

Mit unsere JD 7600 PQ fahre ich mit 23 Tonne Totalgewicht gegen 24 km/h den Berg hier hoch. Mit unsere 410 Vario mit auch 23 Tonne Totalgewicht gegen 23,4 km/h. Und unsere 514C gegen 27.5. Also den Vario hat in meine Praxis weniger Verlust als den PQ von JD und sicher weniger dan ein Powershift Getriebe. Und das ist einfach zu erklaren. Energieverlust ist wärme. Eine stunde mit allen auf der Strasse bedeutet in Getriebe: JD: 85°C, 410V 68°C und 514C: 42°C. Und wie kommt dass? Zuerst Hydrauliköl zusammen mit Getriebeöl sorgt dafür. Und bei JD bracht man dann später (20serie und weiter) auch noch Wasserkühlung für das Getriebe. Keinen Vario braucht dass. Es ist klar das ein völlig mechanischer Antrieb Efficienter ist. Aber Lamellenkupplungen in Öl haben auch grosse Verlusten. Einer Powershift auf der Strasse zieht schlimmer dann einer PQ. Und was sie sagen über Hübraum ist auch Quatsch. Einer 615LSA von 1985 hätte 185 PS und auch nur 6.1Liter Hubraum. Ich habe unsere JD bei 8500 Stunden überholt und unsere 514C hat bei 9500 Stunden neue Dichtungen bekommen rund die Buchsen. Das ist 6.1 Liter VS 6.8 Liter. Pleuelstänge von MWM sind länger als bei der JD. Dass will sagen. Die Büchsen bei der Deere Motor waren Oval abgenutzt und bei der Fendt noch nicht. Eine JD motor hast Hübraum ja, und reagiert explosiver. Aber mann müss auch schneller zurückschalten wann der drehzahl fehlt. Und das ist durch der Bauweise der Motor. Niedriger gebaut und weniger Gewicht an die Kurbelwelle.. Wir hätten früher immer JD.. Aber JD hat die letzte Jahre soviel Quatsch gemacht. Amerikaner investieren in Propaganda, nicht in Qualität. (nach 50 Jahre sollte ein Powershiftgetriebe Quasi perfekt sein ;))
