It's been one year since I watched this battle for the first time; the summer of my 18th, I used to listen to mb14's rounds everyday i've also graduated from high school that summer traveled with my best friend, only the two of us, for the first time and fell in love in that trip, got hurt and learned and grown got my first real job and got accepted in my dream university and moved out of my hometown That summer really did change me, and if I were to choose a theme song for it, it couldn't be anything else than mb14's second round. even after a year I still feel my heart breaking into pieces just listening to it. i've never felt so much pain listening to a song yet not dropping one single tear. you only experience your 18th summer once and the fact that I had the chance to find such a befitting song for it, that reminds me of every single sunset I watched during that time.... i say it was pure luck... Now, i don't know how to put this in words, but i wish and hope Mohammad and anybody else who made this event come true feel the same; pure love, hope, the most beautiful relieving feeling and....as alive and happy (!) as this cover made and makes me feel like.

As legendary as Penkyx is, I'm glad that people are finally realising the lack of diversity he has, I remember the first time MB14 beat him 2 years ago, people were so upset that his massive drop didn't beat him, but the lack of variety lost it for him in comparison to the variety other people were using. I love Penkyx! I love his electro and dance music, but musicality and diversity in technique must always shine through!

Tbh his goal every year doesn't seem to be winning. It just seems to be beating the previous year's champion. In2015 he destroyed Ibarra. Now this year he eliminated Thorsen right off the bat. Winning is just a bonus for him. This time I feel like MB14 didn't really care about winning either. I think his goal was to beat Penkyx. In 2015 Penkyx just insulted his entire style and beat him, humiliating while at it. For MB14, this year wasn't about winning. It was about revenge XD. I think that because in his battle against Saro, it was clear he wasn't really trying. It didnt seem like he cared.
