I was so impressed with Terzic and his players in how they managed to perform in such high pressure big game. Okay they lost, but they played up to their maximum potential with such a delightful possession based approach. They worked so so hard as well. My team Chelsea were awful in 2012 (stoic but not much more), yet we managed to beat Bayern, just like that lucky Man Utd side did in 99. Dortmund overwhelmingly deserved to win more than the 2 English sides I just mentioned. Football is so cruel and unfair sometimes. One day Real Madrid will be on the end of 0-4 hammering in a final; eventually an opposition manager (probably an Italian like a Gasperini) will do a job on them. I noticed that there is a massive difference from the UK and the continent in terms of the FA cup (the countries cup in general). Scott asked with such confidence "Would you win an FA cup or play the UCL final?" and just Harry made the argument of yes, maybe it is better to play in the champions league final. If you go on the continent and ask any player of any club what would they rather, I can bet that 95% (if not more) would choose the UCL final, it's just a massive event as opposed to winning the Italian cup for ex. And this is a compliment honestly. It's nice to see the English fans still hold their cup in such high regard.
