Yeah unfortunately kq and their main producer have been holding back San due to his extreme popularity it seems. KQ needs to let San have a full vocal cover and actually give him more lines that San deserves as the lead vocalist, but instead with every passing cb it seems Kq keeps giving him less and less lines. Nothing against Jongho he’s an amazing main vocalist, but it really does feel as if Kq only thinks that Jongho is the only talented vocalist in the group and thus it hinders the other members vocals talents from being shown off properly. This has been an ongoing problem the past few years from KQ on how they promote the members individually.

@@thatoneATINYinthecomments yeah like you would think he gets better with time but for San, the only lead vocalist, the treatment it’s actually getting worse. He used to have good parts, some even shared with Jongho while now he’s at the bottom for line distribution in comeback songs (still shocked at this btw), he’s the only vocal member with no full vocal cover and he’s got zero opportunity to showcase his talent vocal wise. Like we all know Jongho is talented but having a line distribution with him taking half of the lines of the song is not it, especially when you have members like San who proved in those two group covers they did, that he can sing and can even handle high notes.

@@MingyuScoupsDKHoshi well that is definitely an opinion that is wrong, Hj is the main rapper of the group and not even considered as one of the vocalist of Ateez so I don’t know how you came to that conclusion. HJ can sing a bit but his range is rather limited and technically not as strong as San and Jongho, that’s expected of course since he’s more of a rapper than a singer. I think any Atiny with working ears know that Jongho is the best vocalist in the group closely followed by San. This is also acknowledged by KQ who gave jongho and San main and lead vocalist positions for a reason.
