장소는 옥상인데 해군 연상되는 제복이라 그런지 함정위에 있는거 같은 느낌도들고 헬기로 찍으니 공군 느낌도들고 육해공 느낌 다 들게하는 레전드무대 그룹으로도 솔로도 개인 모두가 다성공한 레전드그룹

I don't think a lot of people realize this but they actually filmed the air shots using a helicopter. They literally flew a helicopter just to film this 3-minute performance. That's how popular they were

As someone who listens kpop casually I realized that no other girl group has been treated like royalties the way SNSD were treated not just by the Korean general public themselves but by the music industry insiders, producers, variety show hosts, celebrities and even some of the largest broadcasting network company in Korea like SBS, KBS and MBC. Like even their contemporary such as Wonder Girls, 2ne1, T-ara and Kara who were also big at that time aren't even treated the same as them. Not even a bit. And even today with girl groups like Blackpink and Twice who were much more popular and bigger than Girls' Generation (sales wise) now that kpop is more globalized, still they're not as highly respected like SNSD in the industry. Like at the time when SNSD were still active newer groups looked at them in such awe and you can't clearly see that today in both Twice and BP. Maybe it it's just me but I don't know. They were literally that big. If that makes sense Now I understand why there is a saying “In Korea there's Kimchi, there's also Girls' Generation."

I agree except the 2NE1 part. They still get treated like legends & royalty and I am not even being biased cause I love both groups the same.

@@manima3140 I guess yes, before during 2ne1's peak but after Boom's scandal, the treatment started going downhill. I guess only CL maintain the same power..and Sandara as well but it's evident that Minzy and Boom's career were not same as before. I love 2ne1 too and I hated how YG treated them like trash after they created blackpink. If we compare SNSD being treated like royalty vs other groups, it is still the same or even greater than how they were treated before, every members like "bow our heads down, the queens are here" kind of thing.. Not just as a group but individually. I dont know I cant explain, its like Korea really treats them with the highest rank in Kpop.

Snsd were treated like a trash in 2007-2009, korean still idolized wg at the moment...but when wg went to US in 2009, thats when snsd took over...during genie n gee era ( including this stage), snsd was like twice who overworked by their company due to high demand, they got their popularity so fast n i think it was in 2011 when they finally got respect for their well being n steady popularity despite newcomers n competitors keep coming out with great music...snsd was back then remind me of twice due to their heavy schedules , n thats why i respect both groups...i have no respect to bp despite having billion views, bcoz they r not earned it like snsd n twice but more to media playing

You are mixing up real time with episode ratings. The episode itself only had 9.3%. Which is high for a music show, don't get me wrong, but EP 200 had a rating of 9.7% and the show was above 5%+ for most of that time.

What new K-Pop fans does not realize is the fact that this is still the highest rated aired performance until now, even if foreign K-Pop fans have easier access to watching their idols' performances these days. If sites like KZfaq are as big as they are way back in 2009, SNSD's music show performances will get 100 mil views easy. That's how powerful these ladies are on their peak.

this is soo TRUE... and new gens even said that there was already KZfaq back then, yes there is, but it isnt accessible like it was today.... back then ratings matter than YT views... when SNSD peaked their MBC ratings with 8.6 mil viewers, it is also the equivalent of having 10 mil views in 1 hour...

이영상은 Kpopㅋㅋㅋ역사에 또 하나의 분기점을 만들어준거 같음 이걸 기획하고 찍은 PD는 진짜 여러모로 대단한거 같음....그뿐 아니라 기획사 입장에서도 소시자체로도 뭔가 소녀에서 숙녀로 넘어가는 시기에 전환점이 쎄게 필요했었던거였고 (SM기준으로도 그때 그시절 갬성으로도) 남그룹은 귀염->쏀캐->귀염 이런식으로 해도 둘다 용인 되었지만 여그룹은 귀엽->섹시 이렇게 넘어가면 남녀노소 개충격이었고,, 이건 사실 JPOP기준에 맞혀진건데도 여전히 jpop는 아직 그걸 못넘고있는건데 소시는 이 무대를 기점으로 확실하게 뛰어넘은 거 같앴음.... 이 영상은 무도 끝나고도 뮤비가 아닌 이무대를 틀어줄정도로 임팩트 개컸었음.... 이것도 신기한건 요즘에 저런 공중뷰 촬영은 드론에 폰만달고 띄어도 뚝딱인데 저떈 ㄹㅇ 헬기 띄워서 찍은거임 관객의 환호성을 배제하고 진짜 직캠의 원조가 아닐까 싶음ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ 진짜 저 옥상에서 활영시도한 PD는 인성이고 뭐고 여러모로 대단한거 같음 그리고 단순하게 "소말"자체도 뮤비도 요즘엔 흔하지만 뭔가 VR스럽고 씹덕(물론나도^^ㅋㅋㅋ)망상 충족해주는 뮤비였었음 ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

이후에 나온 아이돌을 폄하하는건 아니지만, 이때 시청률이 17% 찍혔다는건 소녀시대가 나름대로 전국민적 인지도를 가졌다는 것을 증명하는 것이며 이후에 17%는 커녕 5%도 못넘는다는걸 보면 사람들이 어느 그룹을 데리고와도 국내 인지도로 소녀시대는 절대 이기지 못할것이라는 생각을 소시팬을 비롯한 여러 사람들이 가지고 있는게 아닌가 싶다.

소녀시대가 대중성, 팬덤 다 잡았고, 시대를 강타한 엄청난 걸그룹이었다는건 동의하지만 그걸 음방 시청률로 따지는건 좀 오류가 있어보이네요.. 이때는 유튜브 같은게 활성화가 안되어있었어서 무대를보고 노래를 들으려면 음방을 봐야했지만 지금은 음방을 안봐도 기본무대+멤버별 개인전신직캠+개인얼굴직캠+단체직캠+항공직캠 등 다 나오니까 그 아이돌의 팬이어도 딱히 시간맞춰서 음방을 챙겨보진 않거든요

SNSD,SuJu,SHINee,f(x),TVXQ,BoA,2NE1,BigBang,WG,miss A,2AM,2PM,Beast,4minute. I really miss the era where all of them are still active in the industry 😭 Now members leaving, artist enlisting military and the changing k pop trend. Time really flies,things does change,but memories are definitely still deep within us...

It really is sad. It's like remembering all the shows you watched in the 90s and realizing all of those shows and the stars from them are gone and doing other things. They still pop up from time to time, but their era is done and new talent is cropping up--good talent, but not YOUR talent, you know? Not the talent you loved so much.

올타임 걸그룹 최고 컨셉인듯,,, 곡퀄 안무퀄 의상퀄 무대퀄 다 레전드,,, 이때 음원은 아이돈케어가 더 높았지만 소말이 역대 음방 시청률 1위 찍고 군통령 단어 만들어내고 마린룩 컨셉 유행 시키고 제기차기춤 유행시키고 이 노래와 춤이 일본에서도 데뷔하자마자 히트친거 생각하면 이게 ㄹㅇ 메가히트곡인듯

이무대가 역대 MBC음중 최고 시청률 1위 17.2% 2009년쯤 MBC음악중심 평균 시청률이 7~8% 였는데 2배 이상 폭발시켜버림 한여름에 군함인지 말았더니 옥상에서 더운데서 개고생했지만 레전드 탄생 대성공ㅋㅋㅋ

아무리 시청률이 깨진다고 해도 무대 하나 하겠다고 헬기까지 띄운 소녀시대 위상은 못 따라감. 지가 스텝 밟아줬다면 소말은 이제 지금 우리가 아는 소시로 발돋움 해준 노래나 마찬가지인데

헐 이 영상 얼마 전까지만 해도 유튜브에 없어서 맨날 네이버에 검색해서 봤는데ㅠ이때 드론 없어서 옥상에서 헬기로 찍고 이날 시청률 대박났잖아ㅠㅠㅜ개인적으로 이 영상이 제일 여름 느낌나고 노래 느낌 잘 살린 듯 흰 제복에 구름 한 점 없는 하늘 청량한 날씨ㅠ 그냥 다 대박이야
