I loved Miller’s Mad Max: Fury Road. It was one of the best of the last 10 years. I have the art book. I love kick-butt female protagonists, and adore CT as an actress. I’ve been very excited for Furiosa. I… didn’t realize it was out in theatres. I - I’m part of the problem.

Hearing the boys’ opinions on snoopy has drastically altered my perception of these wonderful men. I don’t know if I can look at them the same again. I can learn to love them again but it won’t be the same as it was before this episode

Anya is incredible in any role she plays and Hemsworth as Dementus was in my opinion his finest performance ever. I love when someone who's always a protagonist goes antagonist. Villains are so much more fun to play.

@@sethharris813I’ve seen it twice now and I have entirely forgotten that it’s even Chris Hemsworth. He just disappears into the role and it blows me away. Going back to watch Fury Road (as soon as we got home from Furiosa) was a doozy- it adds so much to the experience, knowing where she came from. Anya and Alyla (wee Furiosa) just absolutely killed it and played so well off the performance Charlize Theron gave

Justin somehow mixed up The Wizard of Id with BC, which is fucking wild. Like, DO YOU THINK MEDIEVAL TIMES PREDATE CHRIST BRO? Also bold move, coming for the Peanuts, rightfully beloved comic strip characters. Like, sure, being a trio of major dumbasses who *really* should stop reminding me of that fact, a lot of the dialog probably went over their heads. Also, to circle back to Justin, did he somehow *not* notice the overtly Christian overtones in Peanuts, that the other two were alluding to? Like, it's not really part of their appeal, but it's quite present. Like, the McElroys are really starting to slip in quality, embracing ignorance harder than ever before rather than using this as a chance to actually learn a thing or two while also being funny (which, contrary to what the morons of the world might think, is very possible, see like half of the other podcasts on MaxFun for reference). Like, the McElroys were never exactly *brilliant* but at least they *tried* to use their brains now and then, back during the early years of the show.
