I have the greatest respect for Maurice and what he's done with "State of Mind" and his contributions to healing mental health. The first step is always talking about it, taking it from the dark and bringing it into the light. Mo was kind enough to ask to be on the show a while ago and I promised him I would do it before I left. So here it is and I thank you for watching.

I could listen to Michael Easton's voice all day long -- he should narrate audible books!

The scene with Finn and Violet was certainly an Emmy performance for both actors. I cried like a baby.

Michael has a creative and soulful spirit about him. This was such a calming and deep conversation. It was like being in the room listening in on a private conversation, you could have turned down the lights and just sat listening to him, he's got this storyteller bedtime voice. Loved this Michael. If you've waited 3 years for Steve and Michael how long till you get Becky Herbst on or Kelly Monaco, that'll be a tough one. Not everyone wants to open up about themselves and speak but if they decide to, totally up to them, It'll be good to hear what they say. Thanks Maurice. GH let go a very great actor, I was teary eyes when M E was saying goodbye bye to Voilet 😢. Can't understand why the writers would let Finn go just after Voilet grandpa passed 😢 Hopefully we will see him sometime in the future! Good luck with his future endeavors.. Thanks MB for sharing!

Maurice is a star who gives back to help others by showing his needs and pain! Michael Easton who a wonderful gifted actor who just proved on a TV screen why he is a iconic force in film and TV! His battle with Alcohol and his scenes showing his pain and his fears can only come from a soul who has been there and done that and bring his innermost feelings to bring the audience ! His goodbye scenes on GH are Emmy winners and the tears flowed from his cast members to millions of viewers!

Funny story about Michael...I had pictures of my 2 crushes, Jon Bon Jovi and Michael Easton on my fridge during one of my pregnancies. I was due Feb 27, but always went late, so told my husband we would have our son on Jon Bon Jovi's birthday, Mar 2. I went into labor early so my husband laughed how I didn't have him on my crush's birthday. I laughed back. I had him on Feb 15, Michael Easton's birthday. That baby just graduated high school this year. 😄

Maurice my 19 year old son was just diagnosed with bipolar disorder. He started meds a week ago. He has been all over the place emotionally. Praying we see improvement soon. Thanks for what you're doing.

Michael has amazing eyes. Amazing voice. I know what it's like to be in the pit of depression. Begging for help and to be lifted up. I'm in a better place though the anxiety comes and goes. I cannot believe they finally gave Michael something to really sink his teeth into and showcase his talent, without letting us see how his character fights his way back for himself, his family and career. Especially after Finn's character began with demons, brought on while trying to find a cure for a disease that had killed his wife, and threatened to kill him. And he ended up discovering the cure, making him able to help so many others. Then, he fought his way to enable himself to manage his drug addiction, while learning how to be a single father. It's not right that the audience isn't able to see how he comes back from this set back. And whatever happened to his character's bearded dragon, Roxy, btw?? I have been a fan since Port Charles and One Life to Live and wish him only good things in his future. Hopefully, he comes back to GH, eventually. Also glad I got to meet him in 2005, while he was on OLTL.❤

I had to talk to the little girl in me, hug her, hold her, tell her it would all be okay. I also had to envision my little girl sitting with and being comforted by Jesus. It is hard to do, but so healing. Broken childhoods do so much damage. Doing the work and finding help and healing is essential. You have to be your own best advocate. Thank you both for sharing. Just watching and only in almost 6 minutes. What Michael is talking about, not running from the bad feelings and putting yourself right in it, is exactly what I do and it works. It sounds almost crazy, as you would think it would do the exact opposite, but trust me. What I do when I'm really in a bad way or if I react negatively to a comment , situation , person or whatever, the first thing I do is I don't judge myself or the other person or try to analyze it and go right to the feeling I'm experiencing. It's a bit scary at first but once you see what happens you'll lose your fear. I feel, feel, feel it, sit with it not resisting it and after a while a peace comes over me and it's done. It changes something inside of you and after a while you'll even react less. I call it surrendering to the moment, almost giving it to God and he changes you. It's a wonderful tool. Ok, back to the podcast.
