I checked Wellington Yard and there was a 01200 inside Wellington Shops, my first thought it was brought their for Decommissioning, but then they suddenly turned on its lights, and I have no idea why it was brought inside

Apparently how this scrap is working 4 cars are removed for Scrap pet weeks. It's Monday and Tuesday morning or afternoons where they load 2 on trucks. And early morning when escorts take them away. I First thought 01294/01295 01298/01299 would be preserved. But 01294/01295 01298/01299 has its signs and couple side ritoll signs removed. It Apparently still is operatable and seen moving around. So probably 01294 is gonna be converted to a maintenance work equipment. I was almost thaught 01276/01277 is gonna be preserved cause it has everything intact and it has its perfect condition with lights on. Then 2 weeks ago it got loaded on flatbed. So 76/77 is crossed out. I don't think any of the tagged cars will be preserved. Also lights on and off I don't think determines its Decommisioned or not.

LOL! He says "FUCK OUTTA HERE" when the CRRC'S are just doing what they are supposed to do. In reality, they are a much better train. 🤷‍♂️ I am so grateful that the T finally redid the OL. And now the RL is getting done with all those same trains. The CRRC'S are a good train and were the right replacement for both lines. Next couple of years, the BL will also be getting redone with them, too. But those won't start hitting the tracks on the BL, until about 2030.

Respectfully, I have to disagree. Firstly, the CRRC 1400's and 1900's have faced significant reliability issues, to the extent that they're unable to secure contracts in the US. Additionally, while CRRC may have been the most cost-effective option for the investment from the MBTA, it was crucial to consider the long-term implications of reliability and safety. they clearly didn't do that. Secondly, your assertion about CRRC Blue Line cars is inaccurate; they're restricted from securing contracts or manufacturing trains in the US.

@@Iss-Railfanning No. I'm not "inaccurate" and I really don't care what you try to counter me with, it does not make you correct. So, disagree all you want, for the sake of being heard, or seen. But don't come at me with your daggers out, like you're large and in charge here. The CRRC'S were the way to go for the MBTA. The Hawker Siddeley's were ran far too long, longer than they should have been, posing a danger to the MBTA workers and their passengers, alike. CRRC has NOT been banned or "restricted" from securing contracts around here. They will begin producing new BL trains in the next couple of years. I might work for the MBTA, you never know. I don't know who you are, you sound like another unemployed BUM who spends his days, recording and obsessing over MBTA vehicles. I guess you'll have to find something new to obsess about, because your Hawker Siddeley trains are all getting crushed, princess. Sorry. 🤷‍♂️
