【MBTA】Green Line "B" Front View - Time Lapsed POV from Boston College to Park Street

This is the video taken along the MBTA Green Line B Branch. At the headstock of a Type 7 Trolley, I recorded from Boston College to Park Street. The operator of the trolley was really nice and friendly when I was recording. Thanks to him for offering me the chance to film the great scenery along Commonwealth Avenue.

1:10 I wonder if those tracks branching off to the right will ever be used again. It’s amazing to think that the Boston area trolley networks used to be so much bigger than what we have today. Even in downtown, there’s another branch that connects around Boylston that goes south that is never used anymore because the trolley network in that direction no longer exists.

They are used for non-revenue service, accessing the yard at Reservoir.

Those first couple of stops don't seem too pedestrian friendly. There's no protection from cars at all?

Nope. The GL is actually pretty dangerous in this regard.
