The word is the T wanted a modern speech to text system that was more nimble and didn’t need to call Frank out of retirement to have him record new stuff all the time.

At least you can still find them on the Blue, Red, and Orange lines for now.

Why did they have to choose the most DULL AI VOICE for this? It sounds like it's just DONE with its job & hates doing it. If they want to replace the Frank Oglseby announcements, use an AI voice that WORKS that has the same vibe as the Frank Oglseby announcements. Take the Red Line announcements for the 01800s for inspiration

Even the commuter rail announcements were changed in late 2022. And trust me, it sounds just as bad as the Green Line AI announcements.

Sorry for the late reply. I think #3871 still has frank oglesby announcements. (If it's in a two car set, it has to be the lead car.
