I counter that claim of "you pull good on new accounts" with my account having nothing playable until I just sat down and grinded out a bunch of gems by miserably playing through ranked with a bad Metalfoes deck. Then I just ended up building Swordsoul and my greatest loss was against someone playing Amazoness with 2 copies of Karma Cut acting like it was Duel Links. I don't know how you lose to that deck. My deck still isn't 100% optimized, Konami has my account allergic to getting URs, I swear. I've also pulled zero royal rares on this account that weren't guaranteed like the God Card(s)/Dark Magician/Anniversary. None of them have been anything playable. I think I genuinely got the Galaxy link monster and Red Eyes.
