The answer is : don't try to make sense of it man, if people want to hate you they will hate you you're wasting your time trying to please a crowd that thinks synergy is only inside archetypes and that you need at least 30 cards for it to exist. The deck showcased here is nekolock turbo, the one I have is made with runicks and uses night instead of field spell shenanigans. And it is 100% a Ghostrick list, the main point of the deck is to get the neko lock turn 1-2 along with as much interruption and negates you can get to support it. And it plays 5-6 Ghostrick cards in the main. The deck MBT made is called Ghostrick adventure combo, unfortunately pardon me for saying that. It is terrible, it has completely generic specials without including terrortop which is the best one, uses e-tele with the only targets doing nothing, and even though he plays adventure and it does make some sense, it has 0 normal summons or sets. It is also a Ghostrick list, but more importantly it's a part of the new addition to the Ghostrick lists, that being combo Ghostricks. Were you use level 1/2/3 normal summons that facilitate an additional engine, along side corresponding specials to get Ghostricks active at the same time as the side one, examples are Orcust and Recycler, Phantom knights and any 3, Virtual worlds and E-tele(you get UDF before the lock). The field spell shenanigans you witnessed in this vid are also extremely usable, and they come with targeting protection for any Ghostrick xyz you have out, as well as a 6 mat zeus in a pinch. At worse mansion defends versus blind OTK decks you may face such as numeron, and funnily they protect from Dinos. UDF is simply the turn 1 play, they can also get the aforementioned zeus, Megaclops if you play an xyz deck, vespenato, their field search gives them synergy with AFD to get something like Perlereino and initiate a full combo, They can turn 2 level 3 of the same type and attribute to ones of different type but the same attribute allowing for access to curious in a pinch and more to come.
