Vaylantz feels like someone started playing yugioh, got bored halfway way, and then forces your opponent to play a different game entirely at gunpoint, the the newest fusion boss turning it into a complete control deck with several moving parts (pun intended).

XYZ Pendulum is an excellent card for Pends to access win conditions they normally would never think of. Especially decks that can modulate their levels or scales pretty easy, such as Solfachord. Any level 4 or 8 pend monster is an OTK line, and beyond that the options are endless as well.

Can I be honest for a second? I've been watching yugioh anime and playing the games solo since the DM era, more or less frequently over the times, but never tried to play in simulators or anything because I was very overwhelmed by the community I guess. But now I found mbt, dzeef and farfa, I have fun with your Jank Bank, Master Roulette and such videos and finally I'm able to play the game with other people in Master Duel without feeling like shit because I see there is a lot of players casually playing like me, because there is room for silly shenanigans and not so powerful decks outside of the highly competitive scene, like any other card game. I guess tldr is: Thank you, I'm having the most fun I had with yu-gi-oh since I started watching the anime 20-something years ago.

I think Yugioh players can be trusted with Link Pendulum monsters. Let them point arrows sideways from the pendulum zones and let you link summon to the backrow. Come on. It'll be funny. Surely nothing in the game will break if that's a thing you can do.

I KNEW this deck looked familliar. So a guy at my locals didn't want to play last week but played to make up numbers. He was rocking this exact Nemleria Mayosenju deck but also using eater/banquet of millions to empty the extra deck.

Nemleria support is coming FYI, with extenders that can special "the only pendulum monster in your extra deck" and that's all

MBT having a manic episode in the middle of it was weird.

It is possible to send pendulum monster cards to the graveyard, but they must NOT be summoned in order to do this. Pendulum monster cards sent from the field to the gy go face up in the extra deck, however foolish/peaceful burial can send a pendulum monster from deck to graveyard. Pot of riches also states you can shuffle pendulum monster cards from you GRAVEYARD into your deck by its effect. So yes pendulum monster cards can go to the graveyard MBT.

pendulum is the coolest thing in yugioh that is absolute dogshit. when a deck has just 2 pendulum monster you can get some super interesting interactions, like predaplant, lunalight, flufal, metalfoes all being fusion archetypes so their fusion "spells" are monsters that you can use as fusion materials if you draw multiple which give a really cool answer to fusions greatest issue of being a 3 specific cards combo to do 1 thing. qli also did a great job by being basically monarchs 2 but with the pendulum mechanic making every monster a payoff a tribute fodder and a way to get your tribute fodder on the field. the problem is just when you play pendulums to actually pendulum summon as then it becomes xenophobe to even work in the first place

i cant believe they never made any crystal beast pendulum cards. the archetype is like prototype pendulum, they were monsters that also became continuous spells except they didn't do anything and were all generally terrible.

I need to stop watching immediately to comment that the first opponent's deck is SICK. I played a Punk Therion (amongst a mish mash of other things) deck in master duel and it is super fun to play because you have over a dozen various combo lines. You can play into Baronne, PEP, Punk Amazing Dragon, Zombie Vampire, Chaos Ruler, Therion Regulus, etc etc plus throw in Ishizu engine and it just an 80/20 deck (80% opening hand multiple combo/20% brick job). Its a fun gamble, and it allows you play through the various handtraps people are playing.

I played this Solfachord deck today and won locals going 4-0. Its better than it looks, though its not great. I only drew the trap twice in 4 rounds though. If your're looking for extra deck space, you can cut the Baronne. Almost never came up. Also played Underworld Goddess instead of Avramax.

Played against Nemerlia at locals today, I 2-0 them but I was their only loss before Top 8 which was kinda hype for 4 rounds of yugioh. Man was doing Eater of Millions and Gren Maju shenanigans but I do like this Yosenju lineup.

To be honest, generally the best target for Harmony is Cutia, as she can't be pend out, but I understand why he went for the Level 2. That said, the Level 3 is easily the worst in the whole archetype. All it does is a Spell/Trap bounce and stops battle damage from being inflicted to its controller. Neither effect are that useful.
