This man, MJ, James Brown made me truly love dancing and how it made me feel. But Hammer was about hard ass dancing and the energy required to even attempt to copy him . Man, I didn't enjoy much about my childhood and didn't have a lot of positive messages, but I knew I could dance. No doubts. I credit this man for teaching me how to go *hard.*

He’s live rapping with all that dancing. RESPECT! I hate what happened to him, and I deeply appreciate he spoke out to warn the others to be wise. He made a commendable contribution to the world with total bada** talent that inspires and lifts people up across the globe to this day. Best of all, though it probably hurt the most, he brought sage wisdom to show others the land mines no one showed him. I thank him for his fight and courage. God’s grace, mercy, and blessings.

I love this song and have loved it since age 3 or 4 in '92. But I'm mad, and I'll tell ya why: I was watching WuTang season 3 and they played Anita Ward's "ring my bell" somewhere in one of the episodes. (I've heard bits of the song here and there, but never really listened to it, right?) I'd started listening to the guitar riff in Anita's verse and thought it sounded familiar. I then tripped out for like 5 minutes straight after going back to the "Too Legit" instrumental I had in my music playlist, and realizing that Hammer's producers snatched that riff of the guitar and planted it into this banger (by playing/re-recording that part for Hammer's choruses). I couldn't believe it. I'm 35 now, and I'm mad I never realized it till that day while watching that WuTang episode. 🤣🤣🤣 Makes me love this joint even more.
