Adam may just be my favorite supervillain ever. Not only does he have probably the best and most useful powers you could have to stalemate multiple superpowered foes at once, he’s not just another incompetent goon like most of Batman’s villains. He’s actually cool and a fearless badass and doesn’t crumble under pressure, be it verbal, mental, or physical. Also, he’s a freaking king. What villain could be more awesome than one who rules over a race of superhumans nearly unchallenged? Also also, he’s not entirely a villain. He recognizes honor, respects those whose confidence in challenging him is in the right place, and knows true corruption when he sees it. Also also also, his powers are MAGICAL. Forget Zod or Darkseid-a magical villain, especially one like Adam, is a true boss.
