I put twine tension device in the chamber where the twine is stored , the tension of the twines on knotters must be from 2 to 10 pounds. I changed the old knifes with new ones and took the measurements from the twine knife and twine - dist is 8mm or 5/16 inch. And from blade of the knife to slot on twine disc must be 13.5mm-15mm or 17/32 to 19/32 inch.
Then I put two new springs for hay dog. I also undo the nut on bill hook so the knot can be released much easier. I put the baler in the knotting position so the needles were raised up where the knotters are than do the measurement under the baler from needle guides to needle tie pipe and must be around 20 millimeters or 3/4 +/- 1/8 Inch.
