Meanwhile every location i know just mixes it by hand and gives it to you with the oreos chilling on the top like u ordered ice cream with Oreo pieces on top like an old fashion icecream store with toppings... they should just rename it "deconstructed mcflurries", raise the price and serve it in a purple beret, call it a day... Just find a McDonald’s in a rural area. It’s less likely to break down because they are less likely to have a service person close enough. Sounds counterintuitive but the machine maker is profiting from service and transportation costs to rural restaurants eat into profits so they keep those running with less service required.

Half of the time the machine probably isn't broken, they just haven't put ice cream in it

As much as it contributes to the obesity epidemic, the bigger portions are still a good thing. More food for less money, essentially. Self control is the bigger issue

I dont think they have an issue with making them, but the issue is cleaning the machine. From what I see it is a very long (4 hour process that is done everyday) to clean the machines, so the workers dont want to clean it, or they had already turned it off in order to clean it and just tell guests then that its broken

Oreo was the only good one people wanted anyways... M & M is the least compatible because of it's candy crust it don't melt nor impart any of it's flavor into the icecream!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The transition is my favorite. Of course, there's no way to close the store. It's a science haha. The kitchen is preparing for lunch while still serving breakfast. You need to balance the breakfast stock so that waste is kept to a minimum while everyone gets what they ordered.

i don't work in grill so i don't know how they do the transition but there is no closing the store it just keeps going and any breakfast orders left over still need to be completed
