Today you are going to see one of the oldest tricks in magic, created in the 1800s by Austrian-Hungarian magician and illusionist Johann Nepomuk Hofzinser. A true classic of magic, this routine has the four aces being removed from the pack and then set on the table. Twelve indifferent cards are also removed and divided into 3s with each set being placed on top of each ace. The spectator picks one of the four card packets to hold onto for safekeeping.
One by one the other three aces begin to mysteriously and visually vanish. When the spectator examines the cards they have been holding onto all this time, they will discover that they are none other than the four aces.
