However because they mishandled the evidence it's hard to tell because those documents got all jumbled up in their clumsy handling of them. Either way, that photo was HIGHLY political and inappropriate.

In hindsight, no special prosecutor should be installed without Senate approval if he is intended to investigate a president or a potential presidential candidate. Otherwise, a standing president can use it as a tool to cudgel his political opponents.

Jackie Smythe could appeal, but he'll get another black eye, because Clarence Thomas in his written opinion on the presidential immunity appeal said that the legal authority for Jack Smiths appointment as Special Counsel was constitutionally non existent. He basically said that Jackie was no different to the man in the street, thus had no power to prosecute anybody, far less a former president.
