Great review, as always. I ordered 2 of those Batman figures from BBTS specifically for the Bruce Wayne heads. One for an unmasked Batman, and one for a custom Bruce Wayne. I currently use that same Cody Rhodes figure with a modified Marvel Legends Punisher head for Bruce Wayne. It's nice to see that the new head works so well with that Rhodes figure. BBTS is taking longer to ship these than MTS. Wish they'd hurry it up.

I always appreciate your reviews & sardonic sense of humor. I was blessed to find all 3 at Target BUT they are coming packed 4 Batman w/ only 1 GL & 1 Aquaman: Terrible ratio.

I am in the process of re doing the Batman from the Shazam line, matte black with a dark Parkerized grey dry brushed on top. I had to use a single hair brush to get in between the pouches of the belt, silver for steel toed boots and knuckles, snaps on the pouches and the 2 loops. Cape on order. Gave him a FN-SCAR rifle with grenade launcher to hold on to. Going to make the pouches themselves a grey/black. Belt is a copper-gold. Might be the best one I have ever done. It’s funny… it took me having a stroke and breaking my back falling to appreciate this. It is cathartic to completely disassemble, repair broken parts and repaint these. I have put four of them into the donation bin at the church down the street.

At the moment, finding the new AEW suit body Malaki Black is kinda easy to get a hold of if you want to try that for a Bruce body. I'm think about buying a couple more to paint the shirt under the vest white.

Liking that BW head sculpt. It does remind me a lot of the one David Vonner made for a Mattel prototype Batman figure that never saw the light of day but collectors were raving about. Anyway, probably going to pick this up if only for that head sculpt.

I ordered this hoping it would be as blue as it was shown but I’m disappointed that it’s this dull dark blue… are there different variants of him?? Like different shades of blue?

I've said this elsewhere, but the original leaked product lists these as "dc classics." I suspect legal might have stepped in like "hey, that's too close to 'dc universe classics,' and we don't want mattel to sue us" so they made a last minute change to dc direct.
