I feel the same way about the cape emblem! As ridiculous as it sounds, when the cape is just red I think "Well, that could be anybody's cape. It could be Bizarro's. It could be Thor's..."

It’s a decent Superman figure for now. Comes with what you need, open and closed hands (both hands) and a neutral head. Classic costume looks great with vibrant colors. Hate the cape and skin tone, tho. AC 1000 still kinda looks better.

I just picked up this Superman today from GameStop. I do like it. I want it to be the perfect Superman but true Superman collectors just know that’s impossible unless you do a custom. But this version I think is the closest we will get to that Prime 1 Hush Superman statue though. The S on the back is the chef’s touch.

Have you gotten the Atomic Skull and the Superman Action Comics 1000 2 pack? It looks like the Superman AC 1000 repaint is super-close in color to Superman Hush... Have you tried to swap out the arms between the two?

Someone else mentioned that he's an infected Superman so that's why his skin is pale, which is a little bit of a bummer because nowhere in the pre-order packaging says or even shows his skin being pale

He’s done with the infected body. This Superman is not controlled by Ivy, this is Superman normal from Hush.

The classic design is just a plain sleeve and then the hand, on all these the wrist has two lives, irrelevant of the Superman design they're going for.

@@dHuntersReviewsHe says about this high relief at the end of the sleeve on the doll, this was something that started back in Superman Rebirth. But as he already said, this didn't exist in the pre-new 52 look, and now it no longer exists either. Returning to being just a plain sleeve

Hey y’all, I’d like some input: I don’t own any Mcfarlane figures, though I know of them. I’d want to get a Superman one. The one I like is up there in price (Superman 1000) Superman from black Adam isn’t bad, but I HATE the HUGE hands he has. Can those hands be swapped out? If not, I think I’d get this Superman. Any other Supermans that I should look into?

I would say this is the one. The Page Puncher (Black Adam) Superman hands can be swapped, but I’m not sure which one you can swap it with.

@@D-zunoLook into the Superman vs Atomic Skull two-pack figures, that is basically AC 1000 Superman with lighter colors, it honestly looks amazing. I’d considering buying it, atomic skull looks cool too.

Action Comics 1000 Supes has the better head & skin tone. Also hands that aren’t oversized & that S shield chest logo is better than this Hush version. Nice Review!

This figure really isn’t great… Mcfarlane can’t get Superman right for some reason. It’s honestly kinda weird that they can’t get him right…

@@dHuntersReviews first off love your reviews man. You do a great job, plus you’re one of the only reviewers who gives some back history of the characters during the review, which I really appreciate!.. Idk man. I feel like the proportions for McFarlane’s Superman’s are always off. The bodies just never look quite right. Plus, the face sculpts aren’t great either. And then you have the skin tone like you mentioned. I’ve bought so many Batman‘s that he’s made and zero Superman’s. I love Superman and I’m always excited when I see he’s releasing one and then they always seem to be wonky in some way and I can never pull the trigger. I don’t know, sorry man. I just hope Todd turns it around. Hope I didn’t bum you out

Great review and pretty decent figure. I don't have a McFarlane Superman so I guess this we'll do. On a side note at 19:31 you can clearly see the Hush sculpt is way too tall in comparison to Superman and it freaking drives me crazy.....

Finally McFartlane is beginning to get his scaling and proportions much better. Instead of meditating that portion of the engineering to a monkey or donkey or octopus or squid or fungus or zeppelin or white water raft, or camping gear or parachute or elephant or piece of grass or eighteenth century pirate goblet 😂❤
