From the neck down it's good despite some of the standard Mcfarlane issues. Like now they can do every Aquaman variant they want. This face is harder to fix as the expressions eyebrow raise makes it less neutral. It's a shame that the first Aquaman, they though this was the way to go. It would be nice if they do a variant that either comes with two heads or at least looks straight ahead.

I would sorta agree with you. I like this one, but I still like the Snyder Cut Aquaman too. I think if they do a movie figure of The Final Suit for Momoa's Aquaman movie, that just may be the ultimate Aquaman for me. I always liked the bearded Aquaman, myself, but that Neca Flash Gordon head looked pretty damn classic.

I think I'll wait for a variant or something with short hair and eyes looking at the front.

Hmmmmm.. that Flash Gordon head on there though... you're a genius!! Now I gotta try to find that figure or just that head for cheap, haha. I gotta say I'm disappointed with the scale on these in general. I'm happy with a lot of the multiverse figures individually and with the customs I've made from these figures, but as a team, nope and nope. The Batman I have is too tall and buffed out, I got Martian Manhunter today and he's way too short, and now this Aquaman is too tall. I guess I will just need to appreciate the individual McFarlane DC figures for what they are and forget about building a semi-classic Justice League with them. I can paint and repaint figures all day, but I can't do anything about the non-matching scales/styles

This figure seems pretty nice, but I already have the DC Direct Brightest Day and DC Essentials ones so I don't know if I can justify buying this one, but it is pretty nice. I know the art style wasn't for everyone, but the HBO Max Aquaman cartoon was cool. It was funny and really had Aquaman and Mera being badass the whole time. I wish there was a figure of that, but I'm sure much like a Lois Lane or other female figures there's no reason to hold my breath.

I just got this Aquaman yesterday from Amazon so a little late to comment on this video but oh well, it really is a great figure I'm glad to have it.

I finally get mine tomorrow, can't wait to add him to my Justice League display! Now all I need is a classic comic version of Wonder Woman and I'll have the original 7. Thanks for the review Brad!

Hey Brad! How does he scale with the NECA Batmana nd Superman? I have those and kinda wanna do a 90's JL lineup.

My favorite Aquaman is still the Super Friends Aquaman from Mattel's Multiverse line.

Great looking figure, I don't like the side looking eyes but other than that its a bad ass looking figure. Mcfarlane toys can always reuse the mold with a new short hair head sculpt for those that prefer him with short hair.

Also, just to note. he has the new McFarlane ankles. You have to spin the ankle joint around so that the finished side is on the outside of the leg. The side with the circle should be hidden on the inside.

No, just no. The side eye is Todd telling the customer "F off, I'll do what I want and you'll buy it!". And you bought it. Utter garbage. This guy makes dollar store figures and the day he loses the license is when ill consider buying DC figures again.
