(Keaton was always my favorite, especially from Batman Returns. Although The Batman might deplatform it as my favorite, we'll see!)

Exactly like they could have just one figure with replaceable head for the masked and unmasked version including the two gadgets the batarang and grapple gun for a little bit higher price like that of the witcher 3

I'm not bothered, Gordon in the batman was really bland. He was probably one of the worst characters just because all he does is follow batman around and say "jesus!" occasionally. That speaks to the overall quality of the film tho in a really good way

From what I've seen from a new teaser clip of the batman's gadget that doesnt seem to be his batarang since its too big and thick, I think its his bat emblem since the costume designer told in the interview that batman can remove his emblem and use it as a tactical knife, his suit has a lot of purpose than it seems its functional in a way which blows my mind! I cant wait to see it in the movies!

I have to admit putting that batter-rang in his hand was a pill, and I was disappointed that it didn't come with the cowl. Other than that, I like the action figure. By the way, I like the Bat-shield. :)

i'm going to wait for the unmasked to get cheaper, then take the cape off and put my masked Drifter head on it to have a ninja or proto batman suit which i think will look awesome.

Nice figure. Just couldn't justify buying the masked AND the unmasked version when they first came out. But the "Umasked Version" is going for $9.99 USD, on sale at Dorkside currently. So I decided to pick up the "unmasked version" now too. Especially for $10. Thanks for another great review!

as far as I know there is a 2nd drifter bruce with that same unmasked head which I think is a Target exclusive ? so essentially you now have all three variant heads to pop on the various bodies . great review btw . I just got the regular open palm bats yesterday , only seen him riddler and penguin on shelves here no sign of the cycle or catwoman :(

This video is fine on playback for me. I'm still not liking how Batman's eyes are looking to one side here. It's like he's afraid to look anyone in the eye.

mcfarlane and spinmaster are just not doing it for me. I hope Hot Toys or Sideshow take a crack at it, with a swappable head sculpt.

Yes it sucks that you have to buy an unmasked version just for that batarang but McFarlane likes to maximize the molds since he pioneered toy variants in the first place. It seems that many people haven't realized that other toy companies like Hasbro are doing that as well.

Is there any chance that that "hood" is held on by glue and could be taken off or is it entirely a part of the collar?

Its held on by a glue and its entirely part of the collar. If you want to take it off, you got to take off the cape first. Hope this helps.

The head sculpt is a huge disappointment. Batman looks more like an Emo than he does the Caped Crusader. I don't like the fact that the eyes are looking off to one side. The figure is passable at best, but that's just my own personal opinion. It doesn't make any sense as a collector to have to buy the unmasked Batman in order to get a Batarang that's not even worth it to be honest. McFarlane Toys are good at re-using their molds and putting money in their pockets. That's the only thing that they care about. Their figures are severely lacking when it comes to extra paint. They have almost no accessories. Even the head sculpts leave a bit to be desired. I'm glad that I decided to skip the recent figures that they've been producing as of late. At least, the video was enjoyable as always. Thanks once again Spot!

It's a production flaw. A lot of them have it. The torso is upside down on that version too.
