Note: This truck was Truck 712 from Hillandale.

This is reckless driving and creating a call on the way to a call is irresponsible and idiotic. The fact that he’s a seasoned FF only makes it worse.. And people have the nerve wonder why the public goes after our pensions?

one hell of a video! some people are only commenting just to criticize that they didn't stop for the red light. let's try looking at things a little different; for one I can personally here a siren from at least a mile away so there's no excuse for anybody not to start looking around and slow down and be a good driver and citizen and get the fuck out of the way so they can get to the fire! if today drivers actually listen to there radio normal and not be distracted by cell phones and actually fuckin pay attention you wouldn't be selfish and you would be making good comments about how some of these fire fighters can drive their ass off! wake up people!

That turn made me sick. There are things tractor trailers ought not to do, and that's one of them. If i drove a tiller, the rear steering would just confuse me, and i'd just drive it like the truck it is.

The whole point of the rear driver is so it can do maneuvers like that and get into tighter spaces. Some experienced tiller drivers say that they can get a tiller into some places where they can't get a standard engine into.

firetruck512 but better always stop in front of red lights, doesn`t care if the others stop or not !!!!!!!! there can always be one who doesn`t stop ! I`m from Europe, Austria and here such driving is forbidden for us

Well if you always followed the stop and go rule, you wouldn't get anywhere very fast. Also, here we have cameras on the traffic lights that turn all other light red.

I don't know if MCFRS has the opticom system but if they don't that driver is plain stupid. He put everyone on the road at risk...not a smart decision to blow the red light. My motto is every time I get in the truck going to a call I tell my driver "if we drive unsafe and get hurt we aren't good to help anybody that needs it"..those trucks don't stop on a dime either....slow down, check to see if you're clear, then go....
