People in law enforcement lying is what's destroying the public trust in law enforcement. There isn't enough accountability or transparency.

The price of gold. When I was young I loved seeing gymnastics because it was like they were spider-man. So I always thought it was cool. Then I heard about this and it left me a feeling weird watching it. Then in the 2020 olympics when simone biles decided to sit, I hear a former gymnast talk about someone falling on their head during a competition . Then I see another going through the final competition with a broken leg to get the gold. That was seen as astonishing and grit. That was pure abuse on video. All this for a gold medal. If I was part of FBI, that would never happen on my watch. My eyesight is bad so I can't ever be in the FBI. I would never put anything over the truth. Even if it would cause the fabric to crumble.

My heart breaks for her and other victims...this is so disturbing. And outrageous. I am glad Larry Nasser is in jail, but abuses like this keep happening and those little girls must be protected.

It would be easy to focus on the lack of accountability by the FBI for the agents that not only failed to do their jobs but were complicit in covering the story up by doctoring testimony and allowing the molestations to continue for many months after they became aware. We can all agree we should have seen (and should still see) the heads of those involved served up on a silver platter but we didnt and we wont because what we think is bad on the surface is much worse when you pull the thread just a little more. This story indicates a huge cover up by one of the investigative bodies our government holds in such high esteem yet when you watch the news today (on any channel) and look at the headlines or even just on the landing page of any popular news website, you would be hard pressed to find this story. The question I keep asking myself is why this isnt one of the most important stories of the day???????? I think that is what the young ladies that spoke at the hearing are asking......why is there a lack of accountability........why is there a lack of curiosity by the media regarding the lack of accountability?????? We should all expect more focus and accountability by everyone to try and make amends for all of the failures these young ladies have experienced by everyone at every level for many many years. I admittedly was disappointed (not mad) when Simon Biles chose not to compete in certain events at the Olympics this year (having no idea what she had gone through in the past). I feel guilty as hell now that I know what I know. I can only imagine all of the mental torment and anguish she must have been going through every time she was asked to practice or compete or be involved in gymnastics at all. It was unfair to ask or expect anything from her yet she delivered in spite of all that she has endured. Simone....I am sure you wont see this but PLEASE ACCEPT MY PUBLIC APOLOGY for questioning your decisions! The Senate Hearings alone are not enough. No matter what they do they cannot deliver the accountability these girls deserve. The media should be all over this from cradle to grave and this should be on the front pages and in the news on TV every day until we see this through and only then will the young ladies know we listened to their pain and we held the system accountable for failing them over and over.

Committees are too big. When I was leading a 5 state sales area the meetings got out of control when they were too big. also instead of each Senator spending 5 minutes spewing the same standard political speak, ( you are so brave, I am outraged, we will get to the bottom of this, etc.) How about a 5 minute statement by the committee leader and then get down to work. Just turns half of the meeting into a political commercial for each of them. Simply broken!!
