The McLaren Artura represents a restart among McLaren production sports cars with a new tub, engine, and electronics than the models that came before. But it also wields a $300,000 price tag and a name that isn't the first thing people think of for supercars. We take the Artura out to discuss what it does well and how it tries to justify its price. Having bought the Artura last Feb, I have been blown away by it! Its a perfect car in my eyes.....a real drivers car that is exotic. Great review guys!

I really liked the 570GT but haven't been very excited about McLaren since then... until this car. This looks great and seems like they've really nailed the handling and steering.

As an owner of several lotuses in the past (and still currently have an exige), as well as a 600LT, you guys nailed what I love about the McLaren. The steering feel is so good, combined with the stiffness of the chassis and the focus on involvement. It was the only car that I felt gives the feeling of a lotus with the overall power and sophistication of a modern supercar.

You should do more reviews with them side by side audios only. Imagine how good the visuals of the car would be if you plan it that way. We watch the videos to see the cars & listen to you. 😂

Great as always! Even without the side by side, though I miss your facial expressions. One ask please, my big screen 7.2 surround system - my subwoofers are working overtime. Is there a lowpass filter you could use to lower the lowest ends? It's intrusive. Also... those spedo numbers... how are you not getting tickets? HOW?? I'm imagining those are NOT KPH! ;-)

The silhouette reminds me of my old mkii mr2, even the colour is the same. The position lights are also similar. I still prefer the mr2 though. This car certainly gives off MR2 vibes. 300'000 GBP?! You could buy 5 MR2 and rebuild them even better than a new one.

McLaren has the Best steering of any car made today. A couple of corrections, there is no regenerative braking and it weighs just 3,300 pounds wet not 3,400.

This and the Ferrari 296 are good but I think I’m gonna go with the MC20 it’s not as fast as the Ferrari it doesn’t ride like the Artura but it’s more interesting to me!🧠🤯🔫

A complete battery replacement is about $5k. The battery is modular so sections can be replaced.

@@davidsucks922 What? Nuance means a slight or subtle difference. A word smith you are not. It's also ironic that YOUR take is more "unimaginative" than his. EV's suck on multiple levels and many, including me refuse to drink the EV kool-aid. In 30 years EV's will have gone extinct for the second time.

I purchased one about 7 weeks ago. Haven’t driven it once. It was sold to me without full disclosure. Unbeknownst to me it had a number of issues and has been in the shop ever since I made the purchase with no resolution in sight. Apparently McLaren doesn’t have the ability or desire to resolve the issues. This vehicle only has a few hundred miles on it. I completely regret making this purchase. McLaren’s customer service has gone into the toilet. All I continue to hear is one excuse after another. Buyer beware!
