I still have the 1/10 RC version Tamiya made back in the early 90’s. Not as detailed as yours though but still a beautiful model just to have on display!

When I was young one of the model magazine’s suggested using model airplane fuel to strip paint. I had just done a bad job on some big parts of a Tamiya 1/12 Porsche 910. What a mess. Glad you didn’t do that. 😂 Superb work. I enjoy every one.

Another master piece is on the making. I've got two Tamiya 1/20 models I've build back in the 1990's but I build them "wrong" 😞. I mean, my building and painting technics were not as good as I wish so, I'm thinking seriously to rebuild them, I have new unbuilded models, but I want to keep them like that, brand new, so, maybe I'm gonna make the same you are doing, put them in an isopropyl alcohol bath and get/buy the decals again. One model is the Mansell's Lola T93 and the other one is Senna's Lotus 99T, plus the same 99T but radio control 1/10 car, Tamiya aswell, it needs repainting due to many years of "service". I have started and to sand off all the old paint is a pain 😅.

Zippoの空き缶、捨てずにとっておいてよかったです😅 欠品パーツは、譲ってくださるという方が多く、甘えたいな～と思ったんですが、特定の方からだけ譲っていただくわけにもいかないな～と思い、ならば自分で作るという選択になりました。まぁ無いものは作る！といういつものやり方で頑張りたいと思います👍

Wonderful work! I tried using Alcohol once and it made the body brital. I now use Heavy Duty Dot 3 Brake fluid. I would like to go back to alcohol due to the cost. Is there a certain brand or concentration you recommend? The use of the Zippo case was outstanding. Thanks so much for sharing your work.

Thank you! I tried using isopropylene alcohol for the first time, but it had no effect on the body. Concentration is 99.9%.

まさかシャシーの真横ぶった切ってZippoの空き缶を使って接続とか…😅誰もが考え付かなかった事を初めて見たのでびっくりしました。もしかして本物のシャシーはああいう作りになっているんでしょうか？資料とか見たこと無いので解らない😂

そうなんです、本物のシャーシもこんな感じで分割されているんです。ただ強度が必要なので、ガッツリ加工してみました😆 完成した時に分割された展示も見て見たくて👍

そうなんですよ、ちゃんとサフ吹いてるし塗膜も結構厚めでした！バリのある所だけサンドペーパーがけしてあり、そこだけは剥がれにくかったです。シンさんおススメのIPA,これは使えますね～👍　ありがとうございます！

塗装を剥がすのに使った液体はイソプロピルアルコールです。ありがとう！ The liquid I used to remove the paint was isopropyl alcohol. Thank you!😄👍

そうなんです、始めてIPAというのを使ってみたのですが、これほど素直に剥がれてくれるとは思いませんでした😅 いつものようにスローペースになると思いますが、完成に向けて頑張ります👍

塗膜を剥がしたい時、以前はラッカーシンナー溶剤を容器に入れてその中にボディをダイブさせたましたがやはり大量に溶剤を使うし臭うしで精神的にキツかったですが IPAだとあっさり塗膜が剥がれるのは助かります。いつ見ても手際のよさに関心します☆ 先は長いでしょうが陰ながら応援しております。頑張って下さい(*´ω｀*) いずれ自分も1/12F1に挑戦しようと思います(*´ω｀*)

IPA、始めて使ってみましたが、なかなか優秀ですよね！今まではヤスリがけでどうにかしていたけど、今回は大物なのでチャレンジしてみました（笑）完成はいつになることやらですが、途中でサクッと作れるマシンを作ったりしながら頑張りますｖどうか気長にお付き合いください。
