The McLaren Senna GTR - no more words needed! It's the ultimate track hypercar, an unhinged race version of the road-going Senna, and with Barry we're going out on the public roads in his car from IKONICK The Collection. What an experience!
Surrounded by over 100 of the best cars in the most amazing gallery and display, IKONICK The Collection includes artworks, sculptures, and the best supercars, forming one of the very best private car collections in the world. While visiting Barry Skolnick's private location in Miami, USA, experiencing the Senna GTR in some form was an absolute must!
The McLaren Senna GTR is even more purposeful than the road car; power is up to 820hp with downforce reaching 1,000kg. There are only 75 units in total and they were very much built for the racetrack but with conversions to make it possible to drive them on the road. Being based fundamentally on the road car, it's surprisingly not all that intimidating, nor too loud and uncomfortable, or even too impractical to drive on the roads.

Dylan Russell closest experience I’ve had is just taking my dog for a walk and seeing a full on Porsche 911 GT3 cup car just cruising down the street. My jaw was dropped for the rest of the trip 😂

They’re in Florida, that state is notorious for having very relaxed laws when it comes to what is a suitable road car. You can basically road register anything in Florida

@@TheOBG Most free states are like that. There is no reason the GTR shouldn't be allowed to be on the road. As long as the car has the proper lights, and isn't a danger to the public.

the problem with the gtr is that they only made 75 of them and I understand why but because there is such a small amount they will never be used as a race car because they will be collecters items.

Saw chassis #49 this weekend at the Philadelphia auto show. Also saw a Agera RS, Chiron, Tuatara, Veyron, etc. The Senna GTR is absolutely insane. I thought the Senna was be coolest car I’ve ever seen in person....and than the Senna GTR came along. Photos don’t do these cars justice. They have to be witnessed in person. And chassis #49 is insane. Can’t wait to see it again.

Great car and collection, not to mention what seemed to be a funky warehouse exterior! Where those extra elements on the rear wing for lateral stabilization. With the added elements for downforce I would imagine the lateral loads would also increase. Great content Tim!
