I grew up in the early 70s watching this and many other Duke movies with my mother, father, and grandparents. Sitting around on a Sunday afternoon and evening watching the Duke giving life lessons to the rest of us like trust honor and a man's word followed by a handshake amongust men that actually ment something. 🤝

i liked John Wayne movies at a very young age but at the same time i was often disappointed not see more serious acting roles like the other actors like G.Cooper,J.Stewart,H.Fonda etc,etc but as years went by i realized that even if Wayne played Shakespeare he would still be John Wayne on the screen and thats when i began to like the duke more then before and still do till this day,A unique actor with a unique screen presence.

The thing about people who don't like John Wayne is that its not enough to just not watch his films . They have to tell everyone that they don't like him. Generally these are people with major insecurities and a very limited intellect. They leave idiotic comments because the responses they are hoping for are the closest thing to human interaction in their lives.

Great psychological evaluation. Say, aren't you the same guy getting testy and calling a total stranger "liar" ,when she claimed to be a relative of John Wayne? I think you _are!_ Is it so unbelievable that relations exist? Or are you a bit overly obsessed with marion to the point such a thing makes you unreasonable and envious? Remember when Buny, at 20:31 told Dev he had to "gravel" (to beg) to get the job? Then Dev sees Buny laugh at him and doesn't like it. Explains his reason after the confrontation. Having to 'beg' for a job turned his stomach.

five different yt videos offering the same movie at the same time. too many to leave enough slots on the yt home page. 2 enough five is too much. that and some just don't like using the title of the movie. see if you can get YT to stop flooding the page with the same thing from different people. that and stop holding back new until their no longer of use or interest. good luck.
