She illegally tried tried setting up a meet between 3 rival gangs in a busy public park to incriminate all 3 leaders at the same time, which would’ve boosted her rep and salary, and would’ve given her a huge promotion. It ended horribly in a shootout, which got a ton of innocent people killed, including Frank’s family. She then tried to cover it up by hiding the evidence of her involvement. And even trying to give Frank the death penalty when he was under trial.

Actually it was a set up, from Castles Commander who was involved in the smuggling of heroin into the YS. And they wanted Castle to take the fall, so they set him up by eliminating their business partners in a way that appeared as if it was castle. The Commander was the one that shot her up.

For those who don't know. Frank was not the one who put the x-ray in her daughter's bag, nor was he the one that executed her. It was one of the people involved in the death of his family, tying loose ends and framing Frank.

Frank didn’t kill Reyes or threaten her daughter, it was a frame job from the Cerberus brain trust. If it was Frank, there would’ve only been one shot to the head, not a spray of machine gunshots with strays hitting bystanders. We’re talking about a Marine Scout Sniper who killed a guy in Mexico from across the border in El Paso with one headshot, and left the two hookers in the room with him unharmed. The Punisher is a lot of bad things, but sloppy is not one of them

An older Frank Castle dealing with someone targeting him who has all his training and technique, and in the end, the villain turns out to be someone whose parents were killed by the Punisher, making them and orphan and having to go through an abusive foster system, facing hunger and homelessness and abuse all the while, and now looking to get revenge on Castle.

Punisher was a hell of a shot. So why did that first shot hit foggy? If Matt hadn't pushed him. That have been more of a chest shot. Was he aiming for foggy to? Or just the D.A? Or all of them? That was a lot of shot for one person. That he could have sniped with a head or chest shot.

Spoiler alert: It wasn’t Frank who planted the X-ray or shot up this office. It was Colonel Schoonover (the military guy who testified in the court scene) who was trying to set Castle up to be either caught or killed as Frank, by pure accident and dumb luck, was beginning to uncover the plot against him which ended up with his family killed and we see unfold in season 1 of Punisher. Reyes thinks she was entirely to blame for the park shootout as she covered up her involvement to save her skin (hence the quote “I know what I’ve done, but I don’t care about my job anymore”), but she was just a pawn and it’s actually the CIA who took his family out.

@@euandunbar8050 or did you miss the latest punisher storyline where mrs Castle came back from the dead to yell Frank everything he has done to avenge his family was a waste of time as she hates him for it....... It literally breaks/ruins the entire motivation and plot point that keep Frank doing what he needs to do no-matter how tough things get .. (Or do you think that is a good thing?)

its funny that her first assumption is that castle is coming for her family, cuz she was involved in getting his killed. She assumed he'd wanna inflict the same suffering. It probably never crossed her mind that his revenge was so precise. Shame its not even him tho lmao

It's season two of the Netflix daredevil, which is HIGHLY recommended. All three seasons of this show and the Punisher series (and Jessica Jones) were really great.

people need to understand 1. from the beginning castle being framed for crimes he didn't commit. that skull image was likely put by someone else. 2. castle knows daredevil's ability to detect even smallest of sounds. he'd never give him sound clue like that if he wanted to kill that woman. also he has access to sniper, doesn't make sense he'd use AR to mow down the room knowing there are innocent people. 3. she got Frank's family killed for a promotion, nothing to feel bad about her.

For those wondering, it was not Frank Castle who killed her. Someone else wants problems to fall on Frank, who killed her, and who killed the doctor, not Frank. For your information, the third party is the one who did the killing.
