When I moved into my Studio in the McMillan Students Village in London, I filmed it. Take a look at how the studios are before consider moving in.

1. There are no communal areas in the Block of Studio Apartments. 2. Being in touch with flatmates is really difficult, because you rarely see them. If you're lucky you have a nice neighbor, but If you want to make friends, I DON'T recommend the Studios. 3. The Toilet Seat was fixed within 5 days.

FM dab is for radio I think. And when you said I don't know what that means at the plug sockets, when you see the red it !means they're on and you plug your electronics into them. Good video, reminded me to check everything when I move into mine!!

Love your attitude, even when things were broken. Hope to go to Greenwich in September and at the studio accommodation!. Is there a communal area and did you get to know your other flatmates well as I always thought with a studio flat you wont get to bond as much with them. Also did the uni fix the broken toilet seat?

nice video and guess what!!!!! we would have been next door neighbours cuz I currently live Macmillan in number seventeen which happens to be right next door to u .but nonetheless thumbs down to the studios because it sucks ass compared to what I pay every month(800£).The room when I moved in was barely cleaned , the fridge was in poor condition(no cover on freezer) and by the way don't get me started on the bath room and the heater. Also my keys didntt work in my block for some reason and if u r moving heads up cuz the elevator might take some days off when it is in a bad mood. The common room is 200 meters away from my block which is really inconivent for my A block friends and had to txt each other to get simple stuff around. But anyway glad to know u had a good studio experience

Conveniently located but twice the price of student-friendly apartments in the neighborhood. Uninsulated cement block rooms are cold in the winter and provide no buffer to noisy neighbors. On site laundry facility is unmaintained, to the degree of being grossly unsanitary, and McMillan management does not believe they are responsible for machine maintenance. Rooms are small, no capacity to rearrange any furniture, convection-possible microwave is the only "oven".

everything is cool except lack of communal areas, would be way better if you could chill with your flatmates in the same area when you want to
