Before studying analytic function, the revision of complex number and their properties are very essential to understand the topic.
The function is analytic at a point if it is differentiable at that point and in some neighbourhood of that point. The necessary condition for a function to be analytic is given by Cauchy-Riemann equations (CR Equations). CR equations are not a sufficient condition for function to be analytic. It becomes necessary and sufficient condition when all the partial derivatives exists and are continuous in the region. All the important Multiple Choice Questions on Cauchy Riemann equations are solved in this video lecture.
In the second part of video, the definitions and theorems on harmonic functions and conjugate functions are explained and MCQ type questions are discussed.
