The year was 2007 almost a year after The Black Parade was released and my sister let me listen to Welcome to the Black Parade and I remember falling in love with it because I had never heard anything like it. Then I remember asking my sister what the name of the band was.... And that’s how it all started!! So happy to have been here for so long! Oh yeah and I was 4 btw when I first heard them so I was basically raised with MCR. And it explains a lot. #Killjoyforever!

Over ten years on, the Black Parade still stands up. It's refreshing to look back on Gerard's words about Freddie Mercury at 3:20. Now it's fashionable to like Queen but 'Black Parade' was such an awesome nod to the band and Freddie showmanship well before the hype set in with the release of Bohemian Rhapsody. Very cool.
