River city fire department had quite the day when someone pretending to be the chief came into the station to warn us of a fire, which he started because of an old memory holding anger. Unfortunately, that causes many issues for us on the team.

Nice touch having the arsonist's SUV be maroon instead of crimson. He obviously got the colour slightly wrong during the repaint.

Well he did try to make them fail to put it out by A: Trying to make the tanker driver (McSloth) ride with him making them have little water B: Hold them up for 10 minutes trying to make McSloth ride with him C: Shouting at McSloth for bringing the Tanker and saying McSloth did a wrong thing. Causing the Others to be distracted by this

Ok there's more than 2 ranks in a fire dept. First Comes The Chief Then Comes The Asst. Chief then the Battalion Chief Then the captain then 4 LTs. And the tanker doesn't hold all of the water you know. There's a magical thing called engines.

Are the fire fighters police or something the chief is chasing the suspect and that same guy found kerosene (that is a detective’s job) and sloth here is questioning the house owner and he is collecting the evidence too this makes no sense

Nah, first responders who aren't police can acutal gather clue and hand over to police to give them more reason to lock away criminal same applies for people who are non-first responders.
