@@bepohalbut the beautify of football is his point. The passion of celebrating the important goal! We can’t even celebrate a goal as it happens anymore. We have to wait minutes later for the damn VAR check to be complete. If they really want video review They should give teams 2 challenges that they can challenge a decision if it’s in question and if they don’t win the challenge they lose it and once challenges are gone they can’t challenge anymore decisions. Normally I don’t like the NFL but that works much better there than VAR does in world football

@@wesleyb1458 that’s just not true. if you imply rules then you have to execute every single one at every single time. i love the nfl but american sports with their dumb rules are horrible as they make multiple and game changing mistakes due to wrong callings in every game. everyone who states that the VAR takes away the fun/beauty stops saying that when the team they support would have a disadvantage from a wrong decision

@@vukcevu5854look at what the keepers doing... stepped the complete wrong way by half his fucking net, balls in the net (at very minimum passed him) and then he's "impeded" (which he literally wasn't unless it's a non contact sport all of a sudden) after the balls already passed him completely. Its daylight robbery and the amount of people I hear worldwide agreeing and ripping the piss out people like you makes me happy. Watch More Football.

Balls not gone top corner. If the keeper isn't standing so far back he saves. He was shepherded into that position almost behind his goal line by an offside player. Only Scottish fans and pundits have said it was a fair goal. Nobody without bias believes that goal should stand.

@@BlubberBrother1672 no it wasn't. Look at the shot again.. It's brilliantly struck but it goes in barely over half way up the post. It's not top corner. No keeper can get beat from there unless it's top corner. The keeper is standing way too far back in his goal because he's being blocked by an offside player. Anyway, whether the keeper would or would not have got it, has nothing to do with whether it was a offside goal or not. That's not the rule at all. Is there interference from an offside player? Yes. That's it so. No more discussion obviously. No goal. There's no debate. He's offside.

if you think this is a goal you haven't the faintest. The player charges the goalie, pushes him out of position, this makes him part of the play and therefore his position counts as offside.

He does not obly block the goalkeepers view and movement while being offside he actually pushes him (however lightly). This isn't allowed while being offside no matter what the goalkeeper does afterwards.

Yes, Scot should play more forward, I'm glad he stayed at United. He's one of the few who's prepared to play for the badge. I would like to see more games without TrashFraud and Bruno. Mount or Bruno, but not "and".

VAR got it right. The guy ruled to be offside impeded the goalkeeper thus preventing him from making a save or an attempt... If a ball is played and an offside player disrupts the movement of the goalkeeper or blocks him from making a save, it's ruled as offside as was the case when Bennacer scored against Inter but there was a player blocking the view of the goalkeeper so it was ruled as offside. Same thing happened to Giroud VS Napoli that lead to the disallowing of Kessie's equalizer...

He’s really a Striker, Target Man Clinical in the box and around it, as a youth player that’s were he played, don’t understand why they decided to play him as a midfielder, not much off a creator in midfield just a pure finisher and great in the air at 6’4 height, could be a 20+ goal scored easy at United, especially with the lack of elite attackers due to inexperience and lack of commitment right now, make complete sense to give him several games as #9, if ambarat can play fallback…………

Goalie wouldn’t have saved it. But why do players feel the need to lean on and infringe the goalie. You shouldn’t be allowed to block them off like that with no intention of playing the ball, it’s cheating. In the end fair enough to disallow it because of that.

They wouldn’t have taken that goal away from Spain-but I don’t get why Hendry gave the ref the excuse to do so. I think it should have counted. Still, as a player, you have to know you can’t make any contact with the keeper without asking for trouble.

yes, its offside by the rules of the game. The exact same reason Uniteds goal v Burnley was ruled offside because Hojlund was "challenging" the keeper. Players cant just stand in front of the keeper blocking his vision, challenging him or preventing him from getting to the ball.

At 21/22 seconds thr defender runs towards the keeper forcing the keeper backwards and then puts his hands on the keeper....this is considered a "challenge". Did you just start watching football yesterday? Go read a rule book.

I’ve seen VAR allow goals where the keeper WAS blindsided, but hey; it’s a poorly implemented and executed solution to a problem that didn’t really exist

I'm Norwegian and I actually wanted Scotland to win. But still I was disappointed by what I saw in this video. I had heard about "scandals" and "corruption" and "insane decision", but I can't see it. All I see is a great free kick and a stupid Scottish player who decides to interfere with the goalie, actively pushing him into goal, giving the VAR at least a plausible reason to disallow.

I believe that was a good goal. yes the scot play was by the side of the goalkeeper but that was while the ball was in motion, he was blocking the vision of the goalkeeper. That was a good goal. SMH. Sometimes I feel these VAR refs have agendas.
