🎈 Every 7 September is World Duchenne Awareness Day, and we raise awareness for Duchenne and Becker Muscular Dystrophy. This year’s theme is Breaking Barriers, where we gather together to create an inclusive society and build a better future. We partnered with students from Republic Polytechnic to create this short film about our members. The cast consists of Saifudeen, Edmund and Timothy who have Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and William who has Becker Muscular Dystrophy. We also have Phoebe and Kay Choong who have another form of muscular dystrophy. Together, they answer difficult questions, break stereotypes, share their experiences and their hope for change. 👨🏻‍🦼
