Demonstrates how using this protractor triangle, and plotting courses and bearings in True degrees, is easier, faster and more accurate than plotting in Magnetic degrees.

That's some good stuff. Just goes to show that I'm never too old to learn something new.

Very clear and very focussed on what is and isn’t important in plotting LOP and Courses.

Thank you so much. Your explanation is so clear and amplified so much more by the images and animation combined to great effect. The processes can't be more clearly described. This must have taken a lot of time to imagine, plan and execute. Par excellence standard for all schools of instruction. Again, so very very done, Mr Tursi.

This video inspired me to design and make a protractor triangle with an integrated speed/distance/time calculator!

Thanks. Very clear with good animation. ( I was kind of critical of your sun shot calculation video, but appreciated this video).

what about parallel rules with the degrees imprinted on them to replace the extra gear of the triangle? Don't they work on the same principle?
