If you ask me what to do in San Salvador as a tourist..my answer is very simple !!
Go to the Central Market, hang out with the locals, eat crazy local food and get drunk even if it is 10 in the morning !! If you see Mr. Ricardo and Mr. Carlos, say hello to me !!
Some people in my hostel have told me that the central market of San Salvador can be a dangerous place for a single tourist and I want to tell you that there are many places in the Central Market and if you visit the big "closed" one, where I shot this video, you should worry only about some random cats asking for your fresh delicious fried pork!!

Talk about quality on-the-ground content, asking the locals a little about how they would navigate routine things we take for granted (like how do they make spend weekends, or celebrate birthdays) would be an awesome thing to ask them, man. Of course, give them props for the awesome ideas but I'm sure they will share a little about that ingenuity. Cheers for Cali

Tim.. I didn't know that you were involved in a viral video that made you look bad..I just watch that video. I had already watched all you El Salvador videos and I came to a conclusion that you filmed these videos back then(when the controversial video appeared)..you were genuine and kind ..also you met lots of Salvadorans that showed kindest to you..also some that took advantage like the guy (tuk tuk) charged you $2 to take you to the waterfall...you asked some guys when you were going back and they told you that $1 was the fee... I see that you were trying to stick up for yourself and ask why they overcharge you which is not fair..I am glad I saw your real self before watching the other video. I know you are kind and have a good heart. We are only human and it is not easy when someone is taking advantage. I am glad you also made an apology video explaining what really happened. and to evryone who thought ypu were tacaño or cheap..he is not..he tip a a torta lady (who was very kind), the french fries guy and also gave a $1 to a man who approached him...I wish you would have had release all your videos back then so that everyone could have seen your real character.. I hope you can go back to El Salvador..blessings.

Okay i was mad at that video i saw with the pan months ago lol but i gotta say i do like that you are sitting down with locals and getting to know people , and you are nice to them , you seem like you have good energy i hope it’s genuine our people will give you the little they have as you saw for your self with the man giving you his shirt ❤️🇸🇻(most of us) you will find people that are not so kind but that’s everywhere . The titles are misleading tho el salvador is not a dream country , yes there is danger as in anywhere in the world i have travelled my self my family is from el salvador and i just use common sense and obviously avoid going out at night even in my own town here in the USA i don’t really roam around at night , and i avoid neighborhoods where i know is bad , because trust me they exist here too , the media doesn’t show it for some reason 🤷🏻‍♀️😜anyways keep up the good vides 😌nice video .

Y tenia la suerte 🍀 grande q me filmaban y la mejor suerte en el mundo que el presidente puso mi nombre en su Twitter sobre otra cosa!! Pero ya se fue este momento- aprendi mi error y seguimos adelante!! Sobre los titles. Si 1000% I agree with everything you say - even me I have felt more danger in my life in London than in centro America- but if i wanna do something good and change one’s person’s from usa or eu perspective around “peligro” en cetro america… this is will be more likely to happen- if i give tjem what they are used to read on mainstream media. People prefer drama and negativity on the media and the news and they are more likely to click and see another bad video about el salvador and negatity! And then if they click- there is a high chance that they can re think their views because they will see another reality in my videos!! If I say Salvador is safe and amazing on a title these people will never click- they will think im doing propaganda and im hiding the terrible CNN truth. So i feed them with wvst they are used to hear and then Im just showing them the reality through my camera and thet can make their own assumptions 🙂🔥🙏🏼♥️🇸🇻

Y realmente nunca me enoje sobre el precio porque era un puto dollar hahah - me enoje con la actitud de este vendedor q era demasiado descortes con migo antes empezar grabarme con su mobil- y yo tenia q ser mas maduro - pensar en este momento q estamos hablando sobre un dólar- y salir lejos de el. What's sad, is that El Salvador used to be the number #1 vacation destination on earth over 50 years ago. It's that reason why it became such A place of criminal activity where tourists were then targeted by local gangs.
