Hank got his ass to handed to him twice by a girl half his size (Irene) Gerke pistol whipped Hank and knocked him out and he only gets free hits on the dirty cop after Irene knocks Gerke out from behind with Charlie's motorcycle helmet and Gerke could've dropped Hank as easily in a fist fight without a gun. The jocks at the gas pump stunned Hank using a tazer and jumped him, which wasn't even a fair fight and that Pansy ass jock could've won without a tazer or help vs Hank. Dickie floored Hank in one blow. Hank acted tough but was weak and a poor fighter as violent and crazy as he was. However Charlie, once he gets his confidence back and regained his courage to stand up for himself, was way stronger and tougher than Hank. Knocked out Finnard in one good punch effortlessly, and I think Charlie with his courage at the end and beginning before Layla left Charlie, could've held his own against the dirty cop Gerke in a fair fight although I'd still bet on Gerke, being a more experienced bruiser and NYPD lieutenant from a much larger police department that dealt with far more dangerous and tougher criminals and killers, Charlie probably could've put up a decent fight against Dickie better than glass jawed Hank and got some good hits in but still would've lost as Dickie was much stronger and well built and imposing as well as an experienced street fighter and cold blooded killer. Brave Charlie would've mopped the floor with the punk ass jock that tazed and jumped Hank/Charlie alongside his team in a fair one on one fist fight if the jock didn't have a tazer. Charlie saved Irene while Hank pussied out at the end. Point proven.

Old man here. My best friend raised 4 kids that weren't his, did everything for them, people called him a true father. On his death bed he was crying because his children were looking for their biological dad instead of being there for him. I was there for him as he spent his last days regretting his life choices. It was heart breaking in ways you will never imagine.

I had the same friend. Passed away also. Alone. Sometimes the good you do isn't rewarded the way you're used to or expect. I also know the same story but with the outcome that is literally reversed. No good deed goes unpunished. For as punishment is to the evil act, so is reward to a good act. Now no evil deed is unpunished, by God the just judge. Therefore no good deed is unrewarded, and so every good deed merits some good.[a] - Thomas Aquinas, Summa Theologica See ya on the other side old timer 🙏
