Today’s episode of our Watchmaking Roadtrip will be a bit special as we are transitioning from the Vallée de Joux where we visited Audemars Piguet and legendary traditional watchmaker Philippe Dufour to the direction of La Chaux-de-Fonds and Le Locle region, one of the very influential watchmaking region of Switzerland.
This was the perfect opportunity to spend a bit a quality time with our guys to discover a bit more about their watchmaking habits, because
something great about watches is that they generally represent something in one’s life. They can recall a nice souvenir, a cherished moment, a gift or the result of months and/or years of savings, so there is always a story that accompanies each watch that you purchase or receive.

Very cool. Watch collection of real people who keep it honest. Not like so many collection videos of people just showing off what they can buy. Very refreshing to watch.

Very cool episode, actually something I wondered about during the previous videos :D Cool to see some very modest pieces among them. I'm also convinced that you don't have to be able to purchase haute horlogerie to be deeply amazed by it and have it as a hobby.

I like how a lot of their watches have a story behind them... mine are more fashion statements or a personal passion of their art and engineering. I'm not the biggest fan of diver watches either.
