Sometimes i just fiend for some hard hitting BASS. Glad i have the Tahoe to play with when i get the urge. It sounds as good as ever. I just don't have a lot of time in my busy schedule to play with it as much as i want. One thing is for sure, the recent upgrade to 14v (group 31) batteries (charging at 17v) made the system feel a LOT more aggressive and VIOLENT.
System consists of:
4 Mechman 400a Elite Series Alternators
10 XS Power D14-31 14v Batteries (charging at 17v dc)
Skyhigh 2/0 OFC Power and Ground wire (multiple runs)
SMD Fuse Blocks/Grounding blocks
Sony RSX GS9 Head unit
Ipad Pro 13" Screen
SMD LED Monitoring (Temperature, Bass/highs output, Voltage)
8 T2500.1 BD CP Amplifiers (BASS)
2 T1000.4 Amplifiers (midbass/midrange)
1 T600.2 (tweets)
8 T1 6.5" MIdbass
2 4" Midrange (custom)
2 8" P2 Subs (doors)
10 1" T1 Tweeters
4 18" SMD v2 Subwoofers
Ported box tuned to about 33hz

You ever just FIEND for some hard hitting beat? I'm always busy lately running the shop and pumping out SMD products in my little factory. So it is very hard to find time to enjoy my projects. But when i get a chance i just love it. Upgrading to this 14v battery bank (charging at 17v) made a big difference in how aggressive and violent the system sounds. I have more stuff coming soon. If you have been following the Yukon build (2 24" subs etc), just to let you know, we had some check engine lights to deal with so we were having a hard time registering it. It's all done now i am picking it up at the dealer tomorrow. I will be getting back on it ASAP. I didn't want to load that thing up with all that music with it having SMOG issues. Bro I'm a bass FIEND for sure!!! Working as an Chef for a very busy craft brewery and restaurant I find very few opportunities to let her rip but when I do I'm guaranteed a smile every time! its been a long minute since I last saw the tahoe working, I cant even remember when you re work the trim on the box and the rack since you swapped to a 14V system, I cannot belive the entire setup still looks as if it was finished yesterday. Is easy to tell when someone takes great pride on what they do. happy father's day and keep the great work.

Steve I know what you mean with your box and setup. I prefer my sub up port back in my old s10 blazer doing 152@30 on the dash sealed. People here it and say Man thats violent when it hits the sweet spot in my limited bandwidth.
