When you are married, you have to pray for your marriage because that’s the only union the devil fights like crazy. Marriage is a representation of God on earth. God hates divorce the reason the devil fights it. Make sure you pray for your marriage. I am married to a pastor a really good guy but when I don’t pray for my marriage I start seeing my husband changing in character.The moment I go back to praying for my home every thing falls back in place. @@joi12345678it’s a biblical concept. 1 Samual 15:22. Obviously that doesn’t mean you have to agree with it, but that’s just some context. God prefer His children obey Him rather than merely offering sacrifices (like the Israelites did). Sacrifices (tradition) can be used to make one feel they are aligned with God, when really the true test of our love and fidelity to God is through obeying His commands.

People only see marriage in the physical however it really needs to be visited in the spirit realm because it’s never Gods Will for anyone to be divorce. Devon should not have married Meagan. I think he thought the Lord would change her because she somewhat had a relationship with Him. The thing is, we can both know God and have a completely different way in which we are surrendered to Him. The two were just unequally yoked. Meagan is committed to her lukewarmness. She’s ok with being in the world. She needed the safety that he provided as a man and he wanted the cool she brought. A disaster from the very start. She even refers to horoscopes? Man oh man let’s pray for our sister.

I love that she shared this. Divorce can be such a journey of mixed emotions, but taking self out of it leaves room to question, “Okay God, this wasn’t for me - for whatever reason. So help me to understand how and why this fits into my calling and betterment for what’s next in my life” vs focusing solely on the rage of what feels like your world being flipped involuntarily.

This interview confirmed what I’ve always suspected: Meagan only wants to be a Christian on her terms. It’s not just about the way she dresses or the roles she plays, it’s how she talks about her faith in general. She might believe in God but it doesn’t seem like she’s fully submitted to His will.

I think you all missed the point. She said she is not convicted by how she dresses. 🤔 about that. How many of you are not convicted by something and your neighbor points a finger at you and say you should be? GOD is sovereign! HE is the ALPHA and the OMEGA. HE is not moved and does things in HIS own time. Her time for conviction of her clothing has not happened yet, however, that does not mean it never will. She didn’t want the divorce, however, her husband did what was she supposed to do? Many people confuse obedience of god meaning you will not suffer. THIS IS FALSE. Pain, suffering, tribulation is here and necessary for you to CHANGE, Evolve. Jesus is there regardless if you’re up or down. That’s the point. Tribulation is not in itself indicative of you doing something wrong. It is gonna happen regardless, that’s life. Where we come in, is that even when tribulation comes are you gonna have faith that the lord will be with you regardless. The price for you to get into the kingdom of god is already paid for, a sinless man died for you, for us, the messiah. If he had to endure tribulation, what do you think awaits us in this life? No good deed goes unpunished, even so, god is with you. Never forget that.

She says wearing skimpy clothing never bothered her, because that's not part of her conviction...but the Bible clearly states that we should be chaste and modest in our dress and grooming. It is sad that a lot of “Christians” explain their relationship with God as something transactional. This is a very distorted view of God and even more so what the Bible teaches. First, it is by grace that we are saved, nothing we did or could have done. God doesn’t owe us anything and we are to humble ourselves. It’s sad that your marriage ended.

Right when she mentioned going through a divorce after 10 years, similar to her parents, I thought about how recognizing patterns like that can be a sign of generational curses. These can only be overcome through fasting, prayer, and fully dedicating your life to Jesus so that the influence of past mistakes is not so strong. Spiritual warfare is real. Our battles are not physical but spiritual; we fight them using spiritual tools. It's essential to recognize the tactics of the enemy. It's disheartening to see the enemy gaining ground in many families.

I've always had the biggest crush on Megan Good since she was a young actor, as it's mainly her personality that I love and have even dated women very close to that personality type. What God had to help me understand about women with her personality type is that they're like 🦋's. They don't fly straight, extremely fragile, very beautiful on the eyes, elegant and graceful, but cannot feel caged up in any capacity. Following God requires some parameters to it, which can cause this personality type to feel "caged". Everything has rules to it, even love itself, just as every kingdom has paramaters to it; so does the Kingdom of God. A true Christian cannot be lead by our feelings, as we have died to our desires and take on God's desires. I'm weary of women who lead with "Feelings" in their spiritual walk with God.

No individual follows God Most High wholeheartedly and feel caged. That's the compass to *true freedom.* Nothing and no one soothes a free spirit like a relationship with God. What is "caging" Meagan is the residual trauma from being a child actor in Hollywood.Her relationship w God is rather like her reprieve. GOD has her heart but there are depths that she's not allowed him to shape and heal. If ever she's ready to face the warfare of overcoming and healing that trauma and walking away from the bondage something beautiful and deep will come of it. She's not being fully forthcoming about how the divorce deeply affected her and that's okay, it's her perogative.

But there is no “marry for that amount of time” according to the Bible . You were either going to marry and stay together and work it out or one should not have married at all . God would never promote a person to marry for a “period” of time because the Bible does not support this theory (unless the person passes away) . Either God did not tell her to marry and she misunderstood and did it anyway and went off her own feeling or she did not commit to the ups and downs . If God knew they were not a match and would divorce down the line which goes against HIS word , HE would not have told her to marry Devon . I wonder why Devon filed for divorce because I know he knows God hates divorce. The Bible does mention how a woman should dress and be. “that women should dress modestly, with decency, and propriety. In 1 Timothy 2:9 “ I love Megan and wish her the absolute best and may The Lord give her wisdom and peace . May she continue to grow in her walk with Christ ! ❤

Completely agree. I'm sad, because she is convinced that she is being obedient to God, and yet, the things she allows herself to be a part of do not glorify Him. Not to bash her, I'm just sad that she is selling herself short of being all in for the Lord. If God truly began a work in her, He will complete it.

The Bible allows divorce for infidelity-(cheating). God does not want divorce, He created marriage. When a “MAN” finds a wife he finds a good thing and favor from the Lord.

@@TheJCMlove yes, I agree. I also believe she loves the Lord. It’s just some practices of the world are not good to dabble in for our own sake in the long run. Obviously she knows that, but I’m also not in her shoes of being an actress. So I know she has her own battles to face when in that industry
