It was really cool and interesting to see Amanda Seyfried go from this barely famous chic to a more famous actress. I've noticed since Ted she's been getting into more and more movies. Prior to the release of this film, people truly believed it was going to be just another cheesy "teen dramedy movie" without any real flare to it, and this was only because the trailers for it came across as rather unappealing. However, when people gave this film a chance upon seeing it, they discovered that despite the usual cliches that a typical "teen dramedy movie" would have, Mean Girls had something far extra to it, something nobody expected from it, the one thing that most films of adolescent nature don't have. COMEDY. Before Mean Girls, it had been a very long while since the last film as such to be anywhere near humorous.

My favorite outtake will always be the soda scene with Caddy and Damien. Hilarious stuff right there. Nice to remember Lyndsey before she went insane and drug changed. Sad too though. Very sad.
