Bita, good discussion on Farsi. Iran and India are sister civilizations from the time of Mitra. Yalda is an ancient celebration of Mitra. In India, it is known as Mitra Deva and is part of the verses of mantras and prayers. Old Persian of Avesta and Sanskrit are almost the same language, but using a different script. A Sanskrit scholar can understand Naqshe Rostam, Persepolis. Modern Farsi is based on Old Persian. Bharatha that India is named after is related to the Partha, Parsa and Mada. Kourosh and Buddha lived during the same century, 500 BCE. The language and ethnic connection between India and Iran is much older than Hafez or Firdosi. Jamal is an Arabic word that came with Arab colonization of Iran during 700 CE. It is like mamnoon or mohabbat, Arabic words that have now been replaced by mersi/sepas and eshgh.

Hey couple, Please ever invite Abhijit Iyer Mitra, Institute of Peace and Conflict Studies research scholar and defence economist, he annually visits Iran and Italy. He is a resourceful man. Actually he does lot of primary research works on understanding culture and conflicts of different countries. He once said Iranian food is mostly bland/ tasteless. Is it true?

Is it also true that if Iranians have to scold someone or insult someone they do it in a very harmless and loving way, like, instead of saying "you are fool!" They might say " You are wonderful"?

Please all my questions are in good spirit not to harm any sentiments. Actually Abhijit Iyer Mitra shared his studies and analysis of his travels. He even published article where he mentioned what he learnt while he met talibanis (not related to Iran, just emphasizing he is somewhat trustworthy, but I'm cross checking)

I’m a Marathi guy who knows Hindi/Urdu like first language. In this video that او उ is also used in Hindi’s one dialect in North India with same meaning. There are many words you miss in videos which are similar in Farsi Urdu Marathi Hindi as Bhagwan is slow in Hindi and i noticed them. If i ever gotta talk to you we definitely gonna discover more similarities. I’m big time fan of Persian poetry i dying to learn Farsi and read Rumi, Shirazi, Bedil and Ghalibs Farsi poetry Can you do poetry translations if not just teach Farsi hehe 🤧

The language of those poets (1000 CE to 1700 CE) and the modern Farsi are very different. Iran was colonized by Arabs in 700 CE and were only allowed to speak Arabic for 200 years. Anyone speaking original Farsi, could be punished by the Arab rulers. But within the last few hundred years (1700 CE to present time), Iran has had a movement towards original Farsi and many Arabic words are no longer used or understood.

let us know how that part that is near bander Abbas has similar words and ways : part of that are was Baluchistan ( which has language similar in Hindi / Gujrati ) but How did part of Baluchistan become part of Iran? Sistan and Baluchistan province In 1508 AD, Shah Ismail I of the Safavid dynasty conquered Sistan. After the assassination of Nader Shah in 1747, Sistan and Balochistan became part of the Brahui Khanate of Kalat, which ruled it till 1896. Afterwards, it became part of Qajar Iran. ( there is a tourist vlog of that place on net)

Persian and Sanskrit ( Indian) share a common origin in the ancient Indo-Iranian language. Sanskrit is older than Persian . Approximately 35% of modern Persian words can be traced back to Vedic and classical Sanskrit. BTW skin tone ( brown and dark brown) depends upon climate , going towards north India ( & pak, Afghanistan and Iran) is cold weather so a bit fair. We ALL are brown people and NOT white people . Just saying 😊

Not it's fine you guys are a story of love breaking all cultural and manmade boundaries. Speaking in a global language will make your videos get greater global viewership. And in 2023 I believe people need to start believing in love again. So English should be okay

interesting explanation from Bitwan about the song but Bhagwan bhai is mixing Urdu and Hindi/sanskrit together, khoon is not Hindi word but so many Farsi/Arabic word had become so normal during Islamic invasion of Bharat where they used to work in Farsi as official language but devised Urdu(mixing of Farsi and Arabic words/adjective with Hindi framework) for common people and script was also in Arabic and over the time that become so prevalent among people that even after independence and partition we use it so normally but real Hindi word for 'Khoon' is 'Rakt' or 'Lahu" same way Dil is Farsi(perian) word we call it Hriday in Hindi
