Children being hurt by their parents for things that they don't understand.. Their tears come to try to comfort their souls. I won't be able to forget that. You didn't say it, but that's what I heard. My soul is wide awake when I listen to what you say.

I met a lady in my travels last year that made me cry a couple times. Once was when she told me her life story, second time was over dinner when I had to end my yearlong road trip and go back home. Typically don't cry, but for whatever reason, I did for her. Think I've also teared up a couple times watching some life documentaries. Humans can be incredibly cruel...

So true. Tears are the body's detox system. Mocking genuine tears is silly. Typically, the only ones who scorn those detoxing are the same people who'd make them sick. Such people immediately forfeit any consideration I might have had for them -- on the grounds of being malignant and ridiculous.

Beautifully said, the bridge to the other reality. That’s why life brings tears so much. Even seemingly mundane things. It’s like when god reveals something. ❤️‍🔥🙏🏻 I stood in line 6 hours at the free dental clinic in San Jose. I didn’t get in, and I have a toothache, and I am homeless, but standing there and the things I saw, it was very difficult not to cry several times because of the people. In the line, in the street, all the things I saw. The volunteers, that someone would do that and reach out to people in need. My toothache is still there but my heartache is that much less. It was not wasted time. I stood there seeing people, all unknowing in the potential they have, the amazing beauty of being alive. It was feeling the god-presence. This is why I cry. Thank you so much ❤ 🙏🏻

My 1st comment seems to have disappeared. So, to begin again and instead of talking about myself, I will mention my mom who died in the early part of 2021. I feel bad as I listen to the rabbi story of the man who came into his office who was not able to cry and I think of my mom. If there is another place I hope it's a happier and more peaceful place for her. Rabbi, thankyou for permission to express emotions

Thank you for another great talk Rabbi. This is a subject I have a lot of experience with. I think it is interesting that newborn infants cannot yet cry tears. I also think it is interesting, the different kinds of tears we express. There are hot tears, cold tears, thin streams and sheets. I notice that tears when formed whilst reading certain spiritual materials, scriptures, etc, are always cool, and come out of the sides of my eyes. When I am frustrated or angry, they are hot, and explode from the front of my eyes. I am a woman and even though society tends to give us more permission, my tears have still been criticized, feared, and mocked my whole life. Humans in general seem to be uncomfortable about witnessing crying people, and thankfully there are those angels out there encouraging people to let the flood gates open if they need opening, and hold space well for people who cry. ♥️ Since 2020, it is common for me to have whole days of weeping/sobbing that is accompanied with laughter simultaneously. I laugh/cry. Odd as it may sound, I can experience genuine feelings of great humor and great sorrow at the very same time. I know I am not alone.

My younger brother used to laugh at my crying about injustice. You can't do anything about it, you don't know them. Sadly, I watched my brother implode, and he died from addiction. The more I examine the past the more I understand the nearness of the Almighty in the infinite. I'm still working on how to use this understanding and would appreciate prayers.

I Cried & YELLED DAMMMMmmmmm . . . . .!!!! Coming back from it, - or - what it used to be, as best than now ~ can be described as "The Bridge". My Ranger being eaten over [7] Times by Wanna-Be's & Mother~ Rat's * bucked * then kicked ~ HEE - HAW ~ & Jerked . . . 3/4 . . . . . threequarters of the entire load of Water was lost. After addressing the ANGEL further with a number of explicative statements ~ I ~ went on to give it an update in the [Long Rundown] of all the Troubles of wanting Running WATER up here! So the next days were spent thinking through it, rearranging the TRASH from my New Cans w/lids, and finding covers for all the Receptacles from where All "My Fountains Floweth Over". Setting it all up to go ~ of courses ~ it Rained, then drizzled, showered and misted, sprinkled having mornings heavy with dew. For weeks the overcast varied the arrangement of HOW . . . clouds came. Very different than 2 Years Past, when my Nephew was announced his coming down from the County Seat through: Multiple BANDs of CRYING cascading Blue Jays, falling in shifts making rounds of cycles, diving off the top limbs of the N/Eastern stationed OAK Tree.

To align the moment that emotions may flow through you, they are not retained. They are allowed to be resolved. One must be vulnerable to their highest emotions so that the meaning of its release could be absorbed. We are nourished by the releasing of the energy, creating a space to be filled with positive upward momentum. A growing in the light of perspective, watered through the body, clean and pure intention, sweat and tears, through sun and storms. This is an immense tool indeed, thank you very much for sharing. Much Love ❤️‍🔥

This just hit the spot. We live in a world of happy where tears are not aloud, especially in front of other people. A man must be a cowboy like John Wayne. Everything is fake. I dont know if Jeremiah cried more over the devastation or the falseness of his people. But when he said, Lo, there was no man. It meant that the twisted smiles around him have become hurricanes of absurdity.

I believe I was raised so carefully...by imperfect but to me perfect parents...anything take them by surprise or hurt them I would cry as I was rushing to help them...same with my children or loved ones..starts with tears...but BOTTOM LINE: I can't bear to see people hurt...period. My response when something happens to me....delay...but maybe days later..good cry. Today, I saw terrible pain, fear..horror...Our Country..then Sweet Misha praying this morning and singing to the LORD..and I know needing consolation for her little ones....that was my process...

Thank you. I was raised this way as well, no crying. I still do not cry in public but often when I have a day of not interacting with others will cry all day. In some ways it is a good thing because I learned to get anger out this way as well which I think is better than taking a chance of directing it at others or upsetting them in the presence of it.

Why can't man cry? I feel that they should when there's a need to. A man is a human being. I wrote a poem for my father when I witnessed his crying so many times when I was a child. "My Father's Blue Eyes" is the name of my dad's poem. A man needs to be released of his emotional pain and tears were created for that reason. Baruch HaShem!

Thank you for this timely upload. As I listened to you, I realized that I actually don’t remember the last time I cried. I believe it was the last time I made myself cry to release pent up frustration, which was several months ago. I do this by listening to a song that reminds me of a close friend who has passed on. I’ve always been a crier, but because of my current situation, I’ve had to repress this part of myself. Over time, anxiety builds and my neck muscles start to feel locked. I’m overdue lol. Tears come when my "reality" seems to differ from another "reality". So I am brought into another reality that has shown me a thrutful not so nice side of other people (sadness) or people see a not so nice side of me and tell me that which I didnt see (anger, helpless tears, what now god? Tears, burned ego) or people show an unexpected kindness towards me that I would have never expected or god/nature shows me her magic, majestic beauty or piece of the puzzel I needed, but never expected (tears of awe, beuaty, overwhelmed by their kindness after so much hardship). So it is a reality shift. Dimension shift? The portal secretes. Thats my sense that tells me this.

Thank you! I remember hearing somewhere that tears contain stress hormones, so in crying we release those stresses. My mum always used to tell me that crying washes your eyes out to make me feel better, because I did cry a lot as a child, and quite a lot as an adult female, although I cry less now I'm older; there are still a multitude of heartbreaking events past and present, that should bring us all to tears. The world would be greatly improved if world leaders were opened up to the pain of those.

That crying releases stress hormones in the form of tears is a proven fact. It is the reason why one may first feel drained after a good long cry but afterwards feel a sense of calmness. I also always found that a day or two afterwards I get a new surge of energy.
