This helped me out a lot thanks! If possible could you show a circuit with both series and parallel resistors to find current/voltage through a certain resistor? Thanks again!

Reminder to always break the circuit when using the ammeter. If you try to measure current while the ammeter is in parallel with the circuit it will burn the ammeter because it's internal resistance is close to zero, so, lots of current going through it.
