Yeah, keep trying to play standard and forget I'm Giant Spec and should be rushing for getting those early hard-to-answer Giants on the board! Have started checking my specialist every few rounds to remind myself, find it funny watching myself doing it during editing :D

Oh my, I'm not an expert by any stretch even in the game I do play regularly so can't promise to the quality of my analysis and tactics in other titles. Will admit have considered doing other games for some variety and fun but Mechabellum is what I've been enjoying an awful lot of lately!

@@Drone_101 Tbh learning with you in other titles would also be interesting. I just recently got into rts and your "thinking out loud" really helps to get into the game :3 But I'll will be gladly watching any of your content.

Yeah, decided to take Mothership off the boats because when you go Carry Boats sometimes you need Cannons and sometimes you need Launcher Overload + Range, can't really afford to drop any of those three and then Photon Emission is Photon Emission! Think the level ups are a tough call and depends on the game. I really value having as many bodies on the board as possible. Always aiming to hit 2 units a turn minimum but often going for the full 3. Double the stats are great but sometimes you just want as many bodies on the board as you can. As Giant Specialist I wasn't going to invest too much into the Scorpions because we have bigger tools in the box so to speak, and why fight a mirror match up when you can just hard counter their carry? Was my line of thinking anyway. Thanks for all the feedback though, discussion really does help me focus on decisions and think about lines I wouldn't normally play. Hope we can all keep on improving and pushing ourselves on!

@@Drone_101 fair enough. Even though I said scorpion up there I was thinking more about the snipers, but even then the same deal. Like I said, "makes sense why," I already saw the line of thinking and kinda half agree that upgrading them was unnecessary, I just don't think the third unit is a very good investment, esp when it's just crawlers while your chaff is already healthy. That could also be partly cause of playstyle though. I hardly value unit count and usually prioritize the what, selling pretty liberally when a unit is unnecessary (esp unupgraded units, like those scorps)
