so basically heavenly pacts/restrictions you are born with them and you don't get to decide whether you make the exchange or not, the pacts after birth which are just called pact/binding vow and you can trade something for something else, BTW! Your mom asked if Gojo has one, but he was (as far as I know, which is 2 seasons of anime) simply born with both the "Limitless" Cursed Technique, which is passed down in the Gojo clan, AND the "6 Eyes" which is the pretty blue eyes he has. Not clear on what it does precisely, but it lets him see so much it's disgusting, including the tiniest flow of Cursed Energy. It lets him use his C. Energy very efficiently, and when combined with Limitless, he can use that efficiently as well, which is why he can do busted things like stop any mass moving towards him automatically. The moment he learned his Reverse Cursed Technique (what he uses to heal himself after Toji beat him) he constantly uses his 6 Eyes and Limitless while healing himself from the excessive use.

Every time Mechamaru uses a move on his giant mech suit it doesnt take his life force or anything, hes just using the Cursed Energy hes stored for years due to his heavenly restricted body. Mechamaru has a type of heavenly restriction that is basically the complete opposite of Toji's, in exchange for a useless body hes granted a cursed technique with wider range (which extends throughout all of Japan pretty sure) and the ability to store cursed energy

Mechamaru does not take off years of his life when powering up the giant robot, I don’t know why so many people get this wrong. Since he’s like kinda the opposite of what toji’s heavenly restriction was, instead of having a strong body for weak cursed energy he had a very weak body in exchange for a lot of cursed energy. So what he did was store some of it for 17 years, allowing him to power up those powerful attacks. He’s not depleting his lifespan, he’s consuming stored cursed energy.

Mechamaru’s heavenly restriction is mainly to show it goes both ways as maki and toji’s. it's not just giving away any cursed energy for inhumane strength and speed, it can also be to have insane levels of cursed energy and range but at the cost of being so fragile.

Gojo does not have a heavenly restriction. Gojo was boen with the six eyes but hebdidnt give anything up for the six eyes when he was born. Toji gave up cursed energy for insane physical abities and mechamaru gave up his body for insane cursed energy. And to correct you it is not called a heavenly pact itz a hea ely restriction cuz it restricts you and.
