The top part of that chain on the chain deive should be tight; gravity wouldnt affect it like that.

Дешевше і простіше це ременая передача но боиться перегрева, шестерное використовують в редукторах, а цепная передача чуть дороже ніж ременая но їй не грозить перегрев

Yes heat is an issue with belts though they're still more smoother and tighter put than chain. Gears are used in most gearbox though CVT uses belt.

Timing chains are common in cars as well as belt drive but not gear driven. Very rare. Most of them are in racing car engines because noise isn’t an issue.

Las cadenas deben tensarse y la transmisión la esta haciendo en el sentido contrario asi sesale la cadena cada rato, la de banda también necesita tensarse.

Chain-strong but when you use atvs they will sometimes pop off over time Belt- will wear down but you won’t have issues with it coming off (good for I think called toque converter for go karts) Gear- strong problem is not good for atv use suspension not in favor and had issues with chipping
